So here's the thing....
You know what absolutely Fucking blows? Working your ass off and feeling yourself get better. Pushing your limits. Then when it comes down to auditions?.... Absolutely Fucking Nothing. You don't make ANY of the pieces. EVEN the one you thought you most confident in. And then practices are still mandatory even though you aren't even in the whole piece to begin with? Why the hell are you gonna make me drive Hella far to a competition I'm barely gonna be in?... Barely 2 8 counts of the beginning. That's it. I hate it. It's pointless. Getting make up, costume, and hair done just for just the beginning and walking off. To me it's a slap in the face. I work my ass off for months and this is all I get.... I understand I'm not the best dancer in the world and I have a lot of growing to do but don't torture me and make me feel even worse than I already do when I'm here. Please. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for my growth. granted my patience to be better sucks balls but for every inch of growth I am thirsty for more. I just wish that with every inch I grow that they wouldn't make me feel like I am an open chest wound being picked at....
