Now on its 27th year, it is and still the longest running, inter school dance competition in Metro Manila!

Registration for LOVE DANCELEBRATION is extended to JANUARY 23, 2013! The first general assembly will push through on JANUARY 19 (Saturday), 1-4PM @ DLSU for orientation and registration. Groups who have confirmed their participation may sign-up and claim their registration kits. Interested groups who haven't confirmed may send representatives to the assembly as well. Rock DanCelebration @ De La Salle University

February 12, 2011 is definitely one of the proud moments of DLSC because the Lucid Dance Troupe has done it again. No, they didn't win. But it's not sad. Because they actually placed 5th out of the 16 schools that competed in the competition!

How amazing is that?

Personally, I think the Lucid Dance Troupe really did a wonderful job. Although the ending was tad messy, the concept was awesome. I really loved their concept and the music that they used. Their concept was, from what I saw, Tribal people vs Pirates/Explorers. I loved it because through the dance, they were able to clearly express the story behind the concept. It was so clear and it just hits you.

But besides Lucid, there were other schools that were really awesome.

St Scho left me speechless at their choreography. Especially the ending. Damn. They actually smashed a real electric guitar on stage! I was like "wtf?!". Then there's University of Asia & the Pacific. They were awesome as well. I was literally at the edge of my seat while watching them perform. Exciting! 

There were others which were wonderful as well like Company of Atenean Dancers and UP Diliman. But I'm not going to say anymore. 

That's what you get when you don't go to these kind of events/concerts. You miss out a lot of exciting stuff. So next time, don't think twice. Just do it!
