“WHAT. IS. THAT. SMELL?” Addie practically screamed it rather than ask it. Hanukkah and Christmas were overlapping and Cassie was cooking something that she had never eaten of but smelled amazing.

April shrugged, looking at Cassie. She’d been helping her but she had no idea what this was. At this point, she was just flipping the potatoes.

   Head pokes around the door of the hospital room and he’s wearing that big, bright smile. “Did you bribe those nurses to call me in here? Because from what I can see, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you medically.” Of course he’s talking about how she looks but he did make a quick check of her chart and so far, nothing seems off.
