My DanceXpress...1997-2011

This Sunday will be the first DanceXpress dance recital after my high school graduation (yeahhh 2010 represent!) but I will still be performing in the alumni dance! I'm so excited to see the recital from the other side this year!

Since I started attending DanceXpress Dance Studio at the age of 4, I have participated in 31 dances, 11 ballet dances, 1 dance en pointe, 12 jazz dances, 5 modern dances (including my graduates dance, and this year, the alumni dance), 1 tap dance, and 1 hip-hop dance.

Nothing can describe the joy I felt and still feel every time I step into that small but homey studio. Seeing the dancers who are still there dance this year will be amazing and I can't wait to see how much they've grown, and to dance along side them again.

DanceXpress allowed me to continue my dance training while also being heavily involved in both club and school swim teams, and I can't say how grateful I am for that. By showing me that I can do both, I have become determined to continue to do both at a high level through college.
