Grimity (Rairity) being the last of the mane six and survivor of the group cried over Fluttershy’s body as Starlight smugly told her she failed the test and writes the report on the scroll she hovers before her then out loud announces the sentence she is currently writing.
StarLight : -and in conclusion to the tests and results , it’s safe to say with satisfaction and gratification that Friendship is indeed nooooot~?
she leans towards Rarity a smug smirk on her face waiting for the sobbing unicorn to finish her sentence for her .
Rarity flared up at the lavender coloured unicorn in hate,disgust and some defeat her lips moving before she notices.
Rarity : Friendship....is...no-
she pauses as she hiccups eyes wide as she realises what she is about to say and admit, flashes of the previous tests and her friends deaths suddenly appear through her mind , the anguish screams and despair then the anger she felt, the horrible rage building up with each death that Starlight smugly announces to them all in delight.
The rage bubbles up and Rarity feels sparks suddenly alight through her body as she grits her teeth and growls starting at Starlight as she is hit with utter defiance and rage, next thing she knows is that she stands tall and is screaming in Starlights face loud and clear.
Rarity: THIS WAS NOT FRIENDSHIP!!!!!!!!THESE TESTS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH FRIENDSHIP!!!
her horn suddenly glows brightly to life fighting the magical spell that kept them dormant and from escaping ever since the tests begun, Starlight stares shocked and suprised as Rarity’s horn glows bright and her eyes turning a bright blue .
Starlight: W-what is happening!? How are you doing that!?
Rarity screams again stomping her hooves on the cold hard concrete
: FRIENDSHIP!! -stomp- IS! -stomp- MAGIC!!!!!!
she screams loud and hoarse as her magic erupts in an explosion of light , Starlight shocked and suprised tries to shield herself with a spell but everything is surrounded and covered in a diamond flash of brilliant blue.
Rarity wakes up dazed and confused mind after only to have a pounding headache, her horn hurts and weighted strangely , when her vision returns she finds the room covered in diamond crystals , she blinks suprised then looks around and gasps spotting Starlight, frozen in time encased in crystallised diamonds , Rarity stares in complete suprised unsure how she did this but not feeling regret , her eyes then spot the scroll Starlight held with the god awful test and the quill.
Picking it up in barely working magic after such a emotional outburst , her vision waning in and out ready to pass out again she can’t find any more ink as she barely writes on the back of the scroll .
she shudders and shakes her head then a stupid idea hits her , she runs the quill point tip across her fore leg above her hoove hesitating for a second before digging in painfully and drawing blood, she then writes a desperate letter quick and to the point, cutting her leg more for bloody ink before with the last remaining strength she mumbles sending the scroll off.
Note: Of course i added on to the ending of the Original GrimDark fic with my own twist to make Rarity into Grimity which she later named herself cause after she was rescued and treated for magical exhaustion, in a interview she said he she no longer felt like Rarity, Rarity died with the rest of her friends, she felt Grim and Dark, this Grimity.
The emotional magical outburst she had caused some problems and side affects due to breaking out of the magical binding spell Starlight had on her to keep her from using magic to escape, this she has both diamonds and diamond patterns on her body. Scar from the quill and the brand she got at the beginning of the Tests.
her mascara has also permanent stained her face and her fur has a grey tinge .
