Amnesty Week: Dancing

Inspired by Season 4, episode 8 “Party Time”.  If you haven’t watched that far, read at your own risk.

I wasn’t here for that prom shit.  I’m no princess.  I don’t do fancy dresses.  I’ve got real problems.

But Robby convinced me.  Or did I convince him?  Either way, it was a tactical move.  Sensei Silver approved and paid for everything for us.

Robby and I made quite the entrance.  Miguel and LaRusso were already there.  We were going to show them.

We danced.  It was amazing, like something out of a movie.  During the slow dance, Robby and I talked.  He gets me.  It’s nice to find someone who understands.

We stopped caring about them and kept dancing.

Nine or Ten x Rose prompt: Rose is bartending and the Doctor leaves his wallet at the bar, goes back for it and when Rose is getting ready to give it back she says he'll only get it back if he dances with her (she's seen him there before and had never been able to really talk to him until now). So after a bit of teasing and flirting he dances her around the bar, dipping and twirling her to hear her laughter and see her smile.

One night when Rose is working the late shift, he comes by and pretends to have left behind his wallet (?), but when she hands it to him, he opens it and pulls out a ring and proposes to her. Shocked, she says she'll only marry him on one condition, and so they dance together on the floor (extra points for it turning into them *dancing* together)

On their five year (?) Anniversary they stop at that same bar where they met and have a drink and dance together, just like the night they met. (Based on the song "We danced" by Brad Paisley.)

Polly and Aberama are dancing in fancy clothes. I just love ballroom dance and I already had the head canon that these two love to dance all night long.

I'm sorry this took me so long to answer, these are two OCs I made years ago. It wasn't until this prompt that I actually remembered them. I might have to update their designs and see if I'll share any info about them

She’ll accuse us of … well, of showing affection,” he said, clearing his throat, “and you’ll giggle in that adorable way that you do, and she’ll know the truth. She’s starting calling our cottage the little love nest again. Then, I will hear no end of teasing from her at church for a month of Sundays.” The look he gave her dared her to contradict his predictions.
