“Oh no,” Daniel exclaims while looking at his laptop screen.

Johnny scoots closer to him on their bed. “What is it?”

“The All-Valley 100 drabble challenge is ending,” Daniel replies, a faint sadness in his voice.

Johnny huffs. “Good. Maybe they’ll stop writing porn about us now.”

Daniel turns to look at him, eyebrow raised. “You really think that’s gonna stop them?”

Johnny frowns. Daniel’s got a point there.

Daniel’s expression softens. “Want me to read all of them to you again?”

Johnny rolls his eyes, pretending to be annoyed, but after a second, he relents. 

“Okay. One last time.”

“And all the insistent ‘we’re soooooo obsessed with hot girls! We have to constantly remind people!’ shit??? Yeah, you’re totally not covering anything with that.”

As Hawk and Demetri get lost in their spirited post-movie discussion, Sam and Miguel exchange a look.

“You think they see the irony, or…” Sam mutters.

Miguel sighs wearily.

“Not a chance.”

“Say it again,” Johnny breathed.

Daniel laughed, huffing warm breath against his cheek, as they lay facing each other on the bed with their limbs tangled together.

“I’ve already said it about twenty times,” Daniel said. “Don’t you believe me?”

“Yeah, I believe you, man,” Johnny replied. “I just like hearing you say it.”

Daniel smiled, then said, “I love you, Johnny Lawrence.”

“You love me,” Johnny said.

“I do,” Daniel replied softly.

“Say it again.”

“OK, one last time,” Daniel replied. “I love you.”

“Nah,” Johnny replied with a grin. “That’s not the last time you’re gonna say it.”

“This one very special,” Mr. Miyagi said to an enthralled Daniel. He gestured to an ornate jade colored pot. “Must never open. Will release despair.”

Daniel's eyes widened. “It cursed or something? Why do you keep it?”

Mr. Miyagi nodded to himself, said, “Looks nice.”

“Mr. Miyagi!” Daniel shouted, panicked, as his sensei removed the lid. “Ain't that the sacred pot you just told me not to touch?”

“Hai,” came the reply, gentle and unbothered. Out of the depths he pulled a chocolate chip cookie. “Bad luck if Daniel-san stick hand in cookie jar and eat all Mr. Miyagi's cookies.”

“I got all the apps now”, boasted Johnny, flashing his phone’s cracked screen.  “Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Grindr, TikTok.  Not sure what that last one is though, think it’s a talking clock.”

Daniel blinked.  “Did you say Grindr?”

“Yeah, it’s this network for men to compare power tools.  I’ve already got a bunch of guys who seem really keen to see my equipment.”

Daniel spat out his martini.  “Grindr’s not-”

“Not what?”

“Not-” Daniel cut himself off, feeling devilish.  “Nothing, I’m sure you’ll have a great time.”

“Hope so”, Johnny responded.  “And if they’re hot I might suck their dicks, too.”

“That old man kicked our asses, Dutch,” Bobby warned.

Dutch grumbled agreement while Jimmy and Tommy elbowed him, laughing.

“This is our chance to have a dojo again, chuckleheads. We’re gonna apologize to him and Daniel and we’re going to be nice. Johnny, are you listening?”

Johnny had stopped listening as soon as Daniel walked into the yard. Dark eyes watched him. Johnny’s lips twitched into a small smile, his first in weeks. To his surprise, Daniel smiled back.

“Yeah,” Johnny said softly. “Nice.”

In true Johnny Lawrence fashion, when he confessed his love for Daniel LaRusso (yeah, he was in love–so what? He was enough of a man to admit it. Johnny Lawrence was a lot of things, but a pussy was not one of them), it was fast and to the point.

They were enjoying a spirited spar when Daniel stepped into Johnny’s space. Johnny could count the number of eyelashes that LaRusso had—and notice that they were stupidly long–and he couldn’t stop himself from blurting out, “You have pretty eyelashes, man.”

And then he punctuated the compliment with a deep kiss.

@allvalley100 here’s another prompt for the Amnesty Week, this time with my take on RITUAL! Additionally, this is a preview for the piece I had hoped to complete for Silverusso Day, but I’m hoping the taste of it delights enough for now.

Terry sighed, adjusting his Jareth costume one last time.

Every year since its founding, Terry Silver would go to the Labyrinth Masquerade ball, find the guest who most resembled his darling Danny-boy, and promptly fuck their brains out.

He had made quite a few friends this way… an actor named Chris (now happily married to some karate bimbo in New York… Ruben, right?), a mad scientist named Lee almost more deranged than Terry himself (oh Terry had nearly loved him), most recently a police officer named Nick…

This year would be different, though. He could feel it in his bones.
