Benjamin Beast is ready to start his summer vacation- just a normal vacation with his friends. Hello yes, u mentioned a 9k summary of the dandelion au? If u could just show me that then I’d be most pleased 😊. If not, then maybe the differences u put to dabi and shiggys quirks? Maybe how exactly kat and Dabi met?? Them bonding and cuddling is big uwu pls even if it might be out of character? Any of them and I’d die most satisfied!

Dabi’s quirk differs in that his quirk doesn’t hurt him all of the time. His quirk was misdiagnosed as simple fire when he was younger, and any resulting damage from it blamed on the fact he was a very sickly child.

However, that’s not actually the case. Touya got part of a recessive quirk from Rei’s side of the family, one she wasn’t aware about. It lets him look into the future, but at a price. That’s where his scars come from. His regular flames can still irritate his injuries, but they don’t cause the same level of damage.

Shigaraki’s quirk is mostly the same, only early on in this A03 he has,,,, more control over it for a period.

I LOVE the merge idea so much... book Geralt is an absolute chatterbox compared to Netflix Geralt, and the idea of Jaskier finding out that Geralt's brain basically doesn't EVER shut up has me in stitches. Catch him up at 3am wondering if gnomes and dwarves look like each other bc of convergent or divergent evolution... or if flowers can really actually be black or they're all just really extra dark purple... or how griffin kidneys actually work if they're part bird and part mammal...

thank you Anon! the sharing body au was a 2am brain child and i was like “HOLY SHIT we have so many different and weird AUs in this fandom, why haven’t we done this yet??” 

lol but i also love Geralt’s busy brain headcanon, too. 

with the two boys sharing a body and brain space, they very quickly become aware of each other’s flaws and habits, and very quickly get annoyed 

but they’re stuck in this together (literally, lol), so they have to work together to overcome the problems 

i believe (because i headcanon Jaskier as adhd) that Jaskier would be able to help Geralt redirect his stray and fixation thoughts and actually do something with them, because he’s so used to his own chaotic mental space, but two people sharing one brain?? uhhh, yeah, that’s a Big No and they need to actively sort out their thoughts, lest they get migraines constantly, and become sleep deprived from it. 

so, Jaskier would be like “hey Geralt, whenever i’m overwhelmed by my thoughts, i like to take inspiration from them. even if i’m not inspired, i always write it down, just to get it out of my head and onto paper. i can always go back to it later” and Geralt ends up actually really liking the coping mechanism?? he can just sit down and write and as he’s writing, it forces his thoughts to slow down and become coherent, and then it helps him sort through them and go off on different tangents, and suddenly it doesn’t seem as stupid or overwhelming, and it’s suddenly like, huh, wow, i’m not fixated on this anymore 

and then when Jaskier gets really jumpy, or can’t stop bouncing his leg, or tapping his fingers (which Geralt always found annoying, but now knows that Jaskier doesn’t consciously do it, or even realize he is doing it), Geralt is like “we can put this energy to good use, here are some exercises that i use when i’m restless” and he runs their body through some sword work and endurance exercises, and Jaskier finds that he actually really enjoys it??? 

i’m just dumping headcanons here, but i’m so invested in the idea that this curse - them being merged into one - really helps them learn each other, and forces them to become closer and bond 

also, Jaskier used to complain to Geralt all the time about how stingy he was with details surrounding hunts and monsters, and now he can’t get a break from them. he’d be like “wow okay. i now know everything. i have the entire fucking bestiary memorized at this point *silent crying*” XD

you know i’m so invested in this i might just write some more headcanons and world building for this, in all my lacking spare time (fuck my life)

About the dandelion au, it made me think of Heechul looking like a total hardass, hating kids for breaking his stuff and whatever, but inside he is a total softie. Like it takes him a while to warm up to people, but is actually super nice and loves kids? Or he could be someone who really wanted kids and it didn't work out for whatever reason so now he is bitter, but Taemin totally makes Heechul fall for him, because we all know, whoever doesn't love Taemin is either lying to us or himself.

The kids are all weary of Mr. Heechul. He has lots of intimidating looking friends, some of his garden gnomes are kinda creepy, and the kids have never actually stuck around long enough to find out if he’ll actually yell at them for something or not. They’ve built up this image of a scary mean neighbor in their heads, and they can never understand why the sweet and lovely Miss Boa always chats so nicely with him. Doesn’t she know Mr. Heechul is a meanie? It baffles them entirely.

Until one weekend afternoon when the boys are playing on the sidewalk, drawing racing tracks with sidewalk chalk and daring each other to try the new impossible tracks they’ve made. Kibum is especially good at drawing extra windy and curly tracks, then laughing madly when the other two get dizzy from spinning too much.

Meanwhile, Taemin is still on the hunt to collect all the dandelions he can find. He’s made his way into Mr. Heechul’s yard, carefully navigating through the garden gnomes, but even going so far as to pat a few on the head. They’re magical, after all, according to Taemin. He’s convinced they move around at night, that they’re never in the same position each morning, and that they talk with fairies and tell Mr. Heechul all sorts of secrets. That’s how Mr. Heechul knew it was Minho and Kibum who broke one of his gnomes, Taemin was convinced.

In fact, Taemin is convinced that Mr. Heechul is some sort of magical wizard.

And while the older boys are busy trying to make each other dizzy and fall over on their chalk paths, Taemin is perfectly content continue picking dandelions and keep them in the bottom of his shirt as he holds it folded up like a pocket. And when Mr. Heechul comes out on his porch to see what Taemin is up to, none of the older boys notice.

“What are you doin’ there, Taemin?” Mr. Heechul calls.

“Pickin’ dandy-lions,” Taemin says in a matter-of-fact tone, picking another one as he says it. “To make wishes.”

“Well I want you to be careful around the gnomes, okay?” Mr. Heechul says gently. “If they break, you might hurt yourself.”

“I’ll be extra specially careful,” Taemin insists, tip-toeing around the grass until he’s on the stone path that leads up to the porch. Then he bolts towards the porch, dandelion fluff floating from his shirt and a grin on his face as he holds up a dandelion. “You make a wish too!”

Mr. Heechul laughs and kneels down, blowing on the fluff and smiling at the sweet little giggle Taemin lets out.

“Did you wish for more wizard spells?”

Mr. Heechul looks confused for a moment, only to laugh along with Taemin.

“And what sort of wizard spells do you think I already have?” Mr. Heechul asks.

“You magic-ed your gnomes to tell you secrets,” Taemin tells him. “They walk around at night and protect your yard. With the fairies.”

Taemin nods his head as he tells him, as if this all just common knowledge, and Mr. Heechul can’t stop grinning the entire time. He listens intently as Taemin continues telling him all about how he thinks Mr. Heechul is a wizard and his whole house is full of magic.

“Taemin!” Jinki calls, and Taemin snaps his head to see the three older boys all staring at him with wide eyes, looking scared. “We gotta go home!”

“But my dandelions!” Taemin whines.

“We can make wishes at home!” Jinki insists, and he runs quickly up to Mr. Heechul’s porch to grab Taemin’s hand and drag him along.

Taemin whines the entire time, his left hand trying to hold the bottom of his shirt closed so he can keep his dandelions from falling out, but most of the flowers trail behind them as they run home.

“Don’t talk to Mr. Heechul, he’s mean and scary!” Jinki scolds him once they’re in their own backyard.

“Nuh-uh!” Taemin argues. “He’s a magic wizard!”

“You watch too many cartoons,” is all Jinki says before he drags Taemin over to the swings to distract him.

That doesn’t keep Taemin away. Instead, he’s more determined to hop around Mr. Heechul’s yard, talking to the garden gnomes and picking dandelions. When Mr. Heechul comes out to check on him, he even brings Taemin a little stuffed gnome.

“I used a spell on him, and you can keep him with you to protect you,” Mr. Heechul tells him.

Taemin thinks it’s the most amazing gift he’s ever been given. He stays and talks with Mr. Heechul for a while, about magic and fairies and gnomes, before he runs off with the gnome in one hand and a fistful of dandelions in the other.

The next day he’s back in Mr. Heechul’s yard, telling Mr. Heechul now he’s keeping his new magic gnome in his room to keep the monsters away.

“Will he talk to fairies too? Like your gnomes?” Taemin asks. “Even though he’s not a garden gnome?”

“If you want him to, he’ll talk to the fairies,” Mr. Heechul laughs.

It quickly becomes Taemin’s new favorite toy, and he carries it around everywhere. It always makes Mr. Heechul smile when he sees Taemin carrying it around, picking dandelions and chatting about fairies.

It also makes him laugh when he hears Taemin loudly insisting to the other boys, “Mr. Heechul is a magic wizard!”
