Dandelion. (Taraxacum officinale), here referred to by French herbalist René Desfontaine's name for it, (Taraxacum dens-leonis). Mostly i use the leaves to stimulate the kidneys and the root to stimulate the liver. Dandelion is strong and very safe, and it is recklessly abundant. In many respects this makes it superior to more exotic herbs. Not much marketing or research has focused on it, however, because those same features make it hard to make a profit off of.

As I drift off, I try to imagine that world, somewhere in the future, with no Games, no Capitol. A place like the meadow in the song I sang to Rue as she died. Where Peeta's child could be safe.
