“Under the Blood Moon, two friends stroll around in a flower field...”
So the Blood Moon happened sometime last week, and I decided to draw something for it!
Namely, my vampire Danell and BloodMoon!Sylv - both just hanging out during the event

Been a while since I posted any new drawings (outside of previous Asks and the comic pages), so here’s some I never posted before! Made months ago, still worth sharing now

I need to correct Thane, since he is wrong. Naukhyme is the cutest here.
Naukhyme: See?! She gets it!
Danell: Whatever you say, “highness”
*Gets curious* wait Gods work the same as humans when it comes to blushing and stuff? Also you two are cute *giggles*
Cerys: In some aspects, yes. Mostly apparent for demigod descendants.
*Naukhyme and Danell hear being called “cute”
Danell: (covers face with both hands) Aw please!
Naukhyme: Mmm... I’m the cuter one, right?
Danell: He said both of us are cute, so we’re on the same level.
Naukhyme: But I gotta be the cutest!
Danell: Don’t hog the first place for yourself!
Cerys: (sighs, smiling) These children...
*Rubs my head and blushes* This is true but we mortals also blush when we are embarrassed about the situation ^///^" the embarrassment isn't always something bad, sometimes that's just because they are genuinely surprised about something unexpected like being welcomed here and being told that their presence is appreciated ^////^"
Naukhyme: Hm, at least it shows on your faces. For non-humans it’s hard to figure out if someone’s flustered. (looks at Cerys) Aside from gods, I mean.
Danell: Yep, you gotta pay real close attention to their eyes, ‘cuz big pupils always give it away! And ears too. (he moves his pointy ears a bit) If cheeks aren’t red, the ears must be then!
*Naukhyme smirks a little, then pulls Danell’s ear
Danell: OW OW! (slaps her hand away) Warn first!
*Understands Cerys's point but then blushes even more when hears these two* H-Hey 😳 you two took me by surprise! You don't know what's the blushing phenomenon in mortals? 😳 I'm sorry for that situation Cerys 😳
Cerys: It’s alright, really. I already knew these two were watching.
*Both Naukhyme and Danel gulp, then appear from behind the column
Danell: Blushing feno...?
Naukhyme: Phenomenom. And right, we kind of don’t.
Danell: Um, well we do, but don’t quite get it...
Naukhyme: Demons can’t blush the way mortals do, so we don’t know what causes it.
Danell: Liha Fruits makes skin go red if you eat too much, so we thought that was the case!
Cerys: It’s simple. Humans blush when they’re either very tired from doing some activity, or when they’re flustered about something or someone, or maybe it’s the weather affecting them.
*still blushing a bit and rubs my head* That's a fair point ^////^ but I'm really glad you say such thing, I feel welcome and I will always try to act politely and kind ^////^ *whispers and looks around with my red face* having a place to live here would be very nice but that would be too much to ask, I'm a mortal, I don't belong here.
Cerys: (laughs a little) Kind indeed. Also... Asking for a home in here isn’t “too much”, no. But unfortunately, although it has become a more suitable place for demons and deities, it’s still far from a perfect place for a mortal to live.
Cerys: It still lacks a “proper sun”, and perhaps most of the food here isn’t exactly the best for a human to eat.
Naukhyme: (shouting from behind the column) Sheesh, what’s up with that face of yours? (Danell’s turn) Ate too much Liha Fruit??
*Takes a slice of my pizza and enjoys it while looks at the others eating their own pizza. Smiles and still feels a bit intimated. Tries to act as respectful and polite as possible* So how are the pizzas? Do you like them?
Cerys: There’s no need to be intimidated by them. Benevolent souls and people are not to be harmed in this Realm. As for myself, I like it! (looks at the others) And you?
Kapnós (halfway through finishing): Haven’t had salmon in a while now. It’s delicious.
Danell (he’s eating the last slice): Amazing!
Naukhyme (her box is already empty): And I’m full...
Hyorlakis (still munching on the second slice): Meh.
