Flumphrey is going as a vampire, Danelle is going as The Bride of Frankenstein, Loretta is a witch.
now I haven’t drawn Nora and Nixon in they’re Halloween costumes yet, but I think Nixon would be a mad Scientist and Nora wouldn’t want to dress up, but Loretta would make her dress up as a witch as well, Loretta would hate to have one of her friends be left out of the fun.

I don’t normally draw my characters in water color so that’s why it lowkey looks buns
I really should post my other water color tho, and my sketches and stuff

I absolutely love how good Danelle looks, I struggled a lot sketching her out at first, this was like the tenth different pose and I genuinely think it turned out really well, I need to draw her more fr.
she’s lowkey like a Barbie doll or something, you can dress her up in so many ways and styles, I need to play around and draw her more!
Missy turned out pretty darn well, better than I expected and Flumphrey’s ight.

ANYWAYS, here’s my girl Danelle Leon! She’s inspired by a dandelion (and technically is one ;O)
She’s technically part of this (band? Quartet?) that represents different decades, she represents the 1960s (originally was gonna be 70s but I scrapped that.)
She’s very confident and motherly, especially to Missy, they kind of have that ‘Excuse me, she asked for no pickles’ vibe going.
I’m trying to figure out what instrument she should play, I can’t decide between an electric bass guitar, and acoustic bass guitar or a lyre.
its mostly because I don’t want to mess with the vibe of MeadowLily (concept name).
anyways, shes been one of those oc’s that you just sorta roll around in your head like one of those rotisserie chickens.

okay so for voice claims, it was really hard to do because I don’t watch many shows so it was hard to do, so I was looking up on Pinterest to find some and that didn’t help too much so I tried my best.
it’s hard to do because they have a specific voice in my head so I tried to capture at least some of them!
Missy, okay, so tell my why it’s so hard to find either kid voices that aren’t like anime and all just sound the same. It’s also really hard to Hispanic girl voices that aren’t adult women and it’s kinda annoying! So I did a couple that reminded me of Missy!
also I didn’t do Danelle and Nixon because I couldn’t find much that really fit them.
but to describe their voices is, Danelle is motherly, so think like soft but also can carry herself well and mature, think of Mrs. Fox in fantastic mr fox! (Gosh I love that movie, way before I even knew it was a popular thing, I can probably still say the rhyme in the movie off the top of my head)
Nixon is always smiling and friendly so think of a game show host, kinda like Caine from the Amazing digital circus mixed with a 50s hearthrob, he’s the announcer type, but There’s always an edge of restlessness, like he is destined for more than some town in the middle of nowhere, as he is from a rich and privileged family (whom he hates but was still spoiled by) but he and Nora are the low man on the Buzzy Bee news totem pole so he got sent to the Meadow, he’s basically working as a lowly gossiper since there’s basically nothing bad or going on in the Meadow, rather than the city where they are from!
Brodie… wellllll, I think he does sound like Dave the intern, I literally cannot find any voice lines or anything from him ANYWHERE.
I could just go onto Netflix and try to record some with my phone but then you would get background noise and then it would be a whole thing *sigh* why must it be so hard
