Missing these morning views in Fiji.

It was almost eerie how quiet his resort became after Fiji got its first case of Covid-19. The resort closed the pools along with many other attractions. Usually at this time the place would still be swarming with activity, people swimming, ordering from the pool-side bar, and having a merry time. But now with the growing threat of missing out on return flights to home countries, many had begun the exodus.

Thankfully by this point, my fiancée and I had made travel arrangements to leave early and were glad we had secured one of the last flights home.
