14. When you first entered the fandom, who did you think was gonna be your main man? (and were you correct?)
Ooooh that's a good one. I was almost certain that my #1 was going to be Hunter or Wrecker (tbh my fiancé is a weird mix up of the two), but Tech really is my favorite, with Echo coming in a close second. I'm almost definitely along the lines of being a sapiosexual, but beyond that I see a lot of myself in Tech's characterization!
35. What is your favorite ‘inside joke’ from the fandom?
Honestly, I'm not sure what exactly counts as an inside joke whoops my Autism is showing but I really love anything involving Crosshair waking up in Mount Tantiss with Omega and Tech and just generally being like ???...?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
38. What color do you associate with each Batcher?
Oh, this is a super easy one for me!
Hunter is red! It's the color he and his brothers picked to represent them; it's the color that unites all of their armor (during the war anyway) and he chose it as the color of his ever-present bandana, and, later, his scarf. This man is so family oriented it hurts
Wrecker is a sunny yellow/orange for me! He's sunshine and smiley faces and laughter. He's so bright! And what better color/s to fit him better than ones somewhat associated with explosions??
Tech is green! I really see him as this data, hardware, sciencey green! Like picture if I said old-style computer programming; if you said any color other than a rather specific kind of green, your mind amazes me tbh
Echo is 501st, eel blood blue. For one, it distinguishes him from the rest of the batch, but it's also in memory as he is the last Domino left.
Crosshair is a deep, dark, maroon. He's taken the color that represented his brother's, but it's darker, more lonely; for the purposes of tumblr I typically color him with purple.
Omega is undecided. Typically, I'll think of a very, very, light off-white. She's new, shiny, and while over the two seasons we've seen her character grow, we've seen her take on aspects of each of her brothers, so I believe she's a mix of all of them (going off of light rather than pigment in this case) but I do usually use pink for her on tumblr!
I feel the need to better explain my hiatus a little because I kind feel like I just disappeared, so I’m going to tag my list on the end of this so I know most people will be in the know (sorry it’s not an update 😖)
So basically between my regular job and preparation for my summer job I didn’t have a lot of downtime and was basically writing, editing, and posting chapters all in one or two days and it was getting to be exhausting. I’m still very happy with the work I put out and proud that I was able to do it, but I know it wasn’t sustainable. I love writing and the little community I’m becoming a part of here, so I didn’t want to burn out.
That being said, my summer job is a HECTIC one. If you’ve ever been on a summer camp staff, you know what I mean. Basically I’m working from the moment I wake up to the moment I go back to my quarters. I only have 1 night off a week (usually spent going to the store/getting real food) and then 24 hours off between sessions.
So I’m hopeful that I will be able to get back to posting soon (but I may change my schedule to posting once a week instead of twice, and I’ll likely only be posting for Oyuba’din!)
TL;DR - adulting be crazy; probably gonna be posting once a week over the summer; I love you guys!

Khawa’s laughter echoed throughout the medical bay, and they wiped away a stray tear that leaked from their eye. “Did- did he really just pick you up like that?”
Jaine rolled her eyes, but couldn’t stop the fond smile that grew across her face. “Yep. Just hucked me over his shoulder like it was nothing.”
“Bet you hated that, huh?” Khawa nudged her arm, winking conspiratorially.
“Oh, no. No, not you too!” Jaine collapsed dramatically, her face to the small table between them.
“So Sinya thinks you have a thing for the sargeant too then,” they laughed.
“Yes,” she groaned.
Khawa gently patted the back of Jaine’s head. “Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as long as you’re on Coruscant, Sinya will be trying to get you two to hook up.”
“I know,” she lamented. “It’s just not going to happen. And besides, I’m pretty sure he hates me.”
“Oh, I doubt that,” Khawa whispered, lightly tapping Jaine’s arm.
