I feel like Makoto x Byakuya is both sexual and romantic.

I feel like Hajime x Fuyuhiko is mainly romantic with occasionally sexual.

I feel like Shuichi x Kokichi is solely sexual with romantic-annoying tension, if that makes any sense.

I feel like Kaede x Shuichi is mainly romantic, with minimal sexual tension.

I feel like Komaru x Toko is very intimate and romantic, but not completely and explicitly sexual.

I hope some of what I wrote is making at least SOME sense to someone. I hope someone understands what I'm saying and what I headcannon... Please? SOMEONE?!

Makoto has his ears pierced. Pretty much the only earrings he wears are little circle studs. He got them pierced when in America after seeing how common it was. He was actually very insecure about them at first, and really only wore his earrings when in his house in both countries. In America, if he built up enough courage, he'd wear them outside, and slowly but surely started wearing them more often. In Japan, he'd only wear them when hanging out with his family or VERY close friends. You'd never see earrings on him when he was in school.

Hajime got his ears pierced by Ibuki after he and everyone else left the simulation, though he rarely ever wears them. He's not insecure about them or anything, he just forgets about them most of the time. If he does remember them, he'll put them in. Like Makoto, they're just studs, though Ibuki has convinced him to wear her spikey ones every once in a while. Hajime's studs are a bit bigger than Makoto's.

Shuichi doesn't have his ears pierced, as his parents didn't let him. He didn't really want to pierce them anyway, but if he did, his parents would probably have his ass for it. After leaving the game, though, his parents were just happy to have him back, and really just.. let him do what he wanted. He already wasn't the same boy they raised, so they were willing to let him do things they didn't previously allow in hopes that he'd go back to the way he was, including letting him get his ears pierced. Though, he never did get them pierced.

Kaede never got her ears pierced either. Her parents never strictly said that she couldn't get her ears pierced, but she noticed that none of her family had their ears pierced, so she assumed that it just wasn't allowed in her family. However, she did usually wear cute fake earrings in place of real ones.

Komaru, like her brother, also has her ears pierced. She wears them much more often than Makoto does. She even wears them to school sometimes. Her earrings aren't little circle studs like Makoto's are, though. She has cute butterfly studs in different colors, though she usually wears the blue ones.
