So I've known for YEARS that you shouldn't clean urine with bleach (at least w/o a SHITTON of ventilation) bc of the reaction between the chlorine bleach and the ammonia in urine creates chlorine gas essentially....

Why has this knowledge never carried over for peeing in chlorinated pools?!

Two people messing about on a sandbank as the tide was coming in at Cleveleys. It was only after I shouted at them that they started heading back to where the sandbank was still attached to land. They only just made it without getting their feet wet or maybe drowning.

When I was a child in the 1950's, gangs of children used to roam about, fighting with each other, playing, and occasionally doing stupidly dangerous things. The survivors grew up able to deal with the world.

Nowadays, most children seen in public are accompanied by at least one adult. No wonder that when they go to university they are stunned and start going on about safe spaces, microaggressions and misgendering.

There is nothing wrong with a boy playing football with his mother, but it is sad when she is his only opponent.
