I cant tell if River is friends with Cloud or if he genuinely wants to kill him. I am definitely missing quite a bit of context. From what I've gathered, Cloud is in love with someone on the other side of a war and electrocuted River. The electrocution crippled him so he cant fly and he no longer has some tattoo map things

I found out I can read the Dangerous crow boy book for free piggy backing off of my mom's Amazon and Kindle Unlimited account. This means that I will be live blogging it.

I'll probably do this by chapter.

Without further ado~

Prologue

Right off the bat, I am faced with the fact that a book I thought was only 160 pages is actually 677 pages and 76 chapters plus an epilogue. I don't know what I fear more. Reading this entire thing and its awful, or reading it and actually enjoying it. The thing is there is a non 0 chance that I will actually like it because the tropes listed on the blurb are practically my Ao3 history.

There is a watercolor style map which is actually really pretty.

There is also a trigger warning for suicide and infant distress at the begining of the book and a summary of the previous book which im sure will be helpful.

Upon reading, im not sure how helpful the summary actually is. A lot of these names are not explained. Im pretty sure River is our crowboy, but I only know that due to reading the FAQ. River was apparently almost killed in a battle? And volunteered to retrieve a nuclear warhead?
