Dangerous World - DJ Mustard ft. Travis Scott & YG
Baby was born a bit soon, small, and frail Mama died in the process of too early a birth Papa’s heart made him too start to pale Baby flew to live half around the earth “You’ll be happy here, baby. I have faith you will!” But for baby in a foreigner’s intolerant land It’s hard with people who laugh at you. Still, You’ll die if you say that you’ve tried but you can’t She knew nothing of status, of race or of money They had told her in her they had put all their faith She’s seen monsters in headlines at home. Ain’t it funny? They’ll shoot you for having a dark-colored face. It’s hard to have faith that things will soon be fine When you’re a kid but others don’t compare It’s just like those shows; the kids cut you in line, Call you names, pull you down, and make fun of your hair Mama… Baby’s not like them, she’s hardly like you Why did God have to make her the martyr? “Baby, know that in life everyone has issues Maybe we’ll never know, but we won’t make it harder” 8 years-old, papa’s proud, mama’s scared When she says, “I wanna be a cop, and catch bad guys” Career day at school wants me to be prepared And I think your faith will help me win the nobel prize!” It was encouraged by papa, but mama took me aside She had a little black in her as well Mama told me the story of how her daddy died And how the police man who killed him was racist as hell Baby’s now beloved in her school and her town Most well known for her style expertise She’s even school president and senior class clown And on her way to graduating with prestige Late night run to the corner store and to her surprise A masked man with a gun held to the cashier Then she thought of that gun right between her own eyes And she didn’t think twice to get the hell out of there She couldn’t stay and though she looked like a coward And she had no backup, no gun and no phone Then the gorgeous sound of a siren empowered her To run for her life towards the evil free zone She must have looked threatening to the single authority Since he drew out his gun in what looked like defense He yelled “GUN” a few time… or no, maybe “MINORITY” And instead of reading her rights, he cut the suspense BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG She had faith in the system Faith in the law Some folks, yeah she’ll miss them But not what they saw They saw faith in a world Filled with fear and anger A faithless young world That we all put in danger

This year I’ve already been struggling with going out, especially in crowded places. But a few days ago something happened that completely broke whatever confidence I had left.
I was at the Christmas market in Cologne when I was randomly attacked. I was pushed from behind, then punched, and before I could even understand what was happening, someone pepper-sprayed me directly in the face. He stole about €150 from my jacket pocket and ran off.
For a long time after, I couldn’t see or breathe properly. I couldn’t stand or move. People were just standing around and ignoring me like nothing was happening, which somehow made it feel even worse. I was nearly blind and honestly thought it would never stop.
I never saw the attacker’s face. He came from behind, and by the time I could even react, it was already over. Because I couldn’t identify anyone, the police couldn’t really do much.
Now I’m having terrible panic attacks, and my fear of going out is worse than ever. I’m trying to deal with it, but right now I feel shaken, unsafe, and alone. I guess I just needed to get this off my chest.
The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world.
