stop calling bad people cheetos just to be mean
...So, people make jokes about Zero straight-up going feral and goblin mode and all that, but like, what about Axl? Like, he literally came from a vigilante group and I highly doubt they acted like civilized gentlemen behind closed doors.
You can't tell me he doesn't have his own gremlin moments.
Anyway, comic came about after trying to think up fast food and snack slogans for... reasons. I was reminded of Cheetohs' tag line "Dangerouly Cheesy."
The rest wrote itself.
Oh, and if you don't like my casual versions of the characters, oh well, sorry to disappoint. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Oh, and bonus under the cut. :)

Panic. Panic wasn't even strong enough of a word to describe the heart pounding rush running through you. You curse yourself, how could you be so stupid? You had turned your back at the playground for literally one minute and now you find yourself in a frantic hunt to find your 4-year-old niece.
“My sister is going to kill me” you mutter under your breath.
How does she do this every day, you think to yourself? You love your niece but just babysitting for one afternoon was enough to make you want your tubes tied. Now she's missing, and like a sign from the universe, that you shouldn't have children anyway because you'd stink at it!
You were about to have a panic attack when you hear the tell tale happy squeal of your niece just beyond a hedge row lining the main walkway of the much larger surrounding park. You break into a sprint that has your out of shape self gasping for air and as you round the hedge you come face to face with your niece, but she's not alone.
A tall, broad and muscular man with longish brunette hair and eyes like a stormy sea raises from a crouching position when he notices the wide eyed woman staring at him and the little girl petting his dog, Sam.
“Does this little lady belong to you?”, he asks the woman as the little girl turns her head, noticing the woman.
“Auntie! This is Sam, isn't he pretty?”
This makes both adults let out a laugh as the woman sighs in relief, walks over to the child, crouches and embraces her.
“Claire, I was so worried. Thank Christ you're okay! You can't wander off like that!”. The woman looks up at the man “I thought I was about to have a heart attack when I couldn't find her.”
“I happened to be walking by with Sam here when we noticed this little one just standing alone. I was about to bring her over to the playground to see if her parents were around but you found us first”, he smiled down at you.
As you stand up, you hold out your hand to shake his. “I can't even begin to thank you, Mr?...”. “Oh, I'm Bucky, Bucky Barnes.” “Well I'm Y/N and this is Claire, my niece, who I'm failing at babysitting today”, you say with a laugh and he smiles at you again. “Don't be so hard on yourself, doll face. I had 3 younger sisters I looked after all the time growing up, I know how quick and tricky these little guys can be!”. “That's kind of you to say, I feel less like a jackass now!”, you say with a laugh and he smiles again. And damn, that was a nice smile you thought as you monetarily get lost in his eyes.
“Can we keep him?”, you hear Claire say, knocking you out of your daze.
“Keep who Claire-bear? “Keep Bucky auntie! I heard mommy telling you that you need a man and I like Bucky and he's got a good doggy!”. This makes Bucky let out a big laugh as you facepalm, while turning multiple shades of red.
“Kids say the darndest thing, don't they”, you say as both Claire and Bucky giggle.
“Sam and I were about to get some ice cream. Would you and Claire like to join us?”. Before you can kindly decline Claire jumps up, joyfully, asking “Can we, can we, can we, please?” Bucky sees your apprehension but he flashes you that swoon worthy grin again and you cave.
“Okay, I guess so. I mean it's the least I can do, buy you a cone for saving my butt today.” Claire cheers, Sam barks and Bucky laughs
Imagine an episode where Steven needs to do something through the use of dreams and Peridot volunteers to try and help him - adding that she’s been wanting to find out what "snoring” is like lately.
They go to sleep together, and the next time Steven opens his eyes, he finds himself looking out at a cornfield. Crickets chirp across the otherwise quiet countryside on a late summer afternoon. He turns and enters his friend’s old barn.
Warm light streams through the door and across the interior. It falls onto the far wall where Peridot and Lapis are bundled up in the hammock together, and onto Peridot’s peaceful face as she sleeps wrapped in Lapis’ arms.
Steven approaches, sad and hesitant. “It’s time to wake up, Peridot. We gotta go.”
Peridot slowly opens her eyes and she bolts upright. “Steven?”
She looks at him, and then looks beside her - the hammock is empty.
The sky is dark and cloudy as they walk out of the barn, just like the day her old roommate moved in. Steven’s arm is around her shoulder as he sympathetically explains to her how intense dreams can be, even if they aren’t real.
She turns to take another look at her old home, but all that’s there is a giant, empty, hole.
