Their first impression: “Aw, that poor girl! So tense…she mus’ be really hungry. Wow, what’s that tattoo on ‘er neck?”
Their current impression: “She’s still so tense an’ hungry, an’ I’m startin’ to reckon it ain’t jus’ for food. For somebody so loud-n-intense, she don’ talk much about ‘er thoughts-n-feelings…I wish she’d talk more about those. Maybe then she’d a’least feel better? An’ I wish she’d take better care of herself.”
What they like the most about your muse: Aina has always been attracted to powerful and peculiar personalities and Anko is no exception. She likes Anko’s badassery, her energy, her taste for sweets, her interest in snakes, and her hidden appreciation for culture (such as her fondness for tea ceremonies). Aina wishes she was an official ninja too so maybe they could spend more time together. She also believes Anko is loveliest when she smiles, as in genuinely smiles.
What they dislike the most about your muse: As much as Aina admires Anko’s courage, there is such a thing as unnecessary aggression, something that Anko seems prone to very easily. Aina finds her bloodlust worrisome, and while she might not point it out all the time, she notices Anko’s self-destructive habits, and they never fail to break her heart. She also dislikes the confusion surrounding where she stands with her. Anko often seems suspicious of her every time she tries to do something nice, and she’s not sure how much more she can do to prove her intentions are good.
What your muse is for them (friend, lover, rival, etc.): A friend! An at times difficult friend, but a friend no less. It should probably be noted that Aina pretty much decided for them both from the outset that they would be friends, as she often does with people she gets attached to.
A general opinion of their relationship: There’s a certain dysfunction in their friendship that Aina can’t always ignore, but she refuses to give up on her.
One of Aina’s problems is that she has this compulsion to care for people who seem worse off than her while ignoring her own issues for as long as she can. I think that’s one of the reasons she got attached to Anko, in the first place. But that’s not to say she doesn’t still genuinely care for the girl, which sure puts her in an interesting position when she later crosses paths with Orochimaru. Even as a rogue, Anko remains on her mind and in her prayers.
If applicable, something they wish to reveal: Aina has wondered more than once whether she should leave Anko alone because the latter seems bothered by her company. After all, nobody likes to feel like they’re unwanted. On the other hand, Anko seems to have been left alone long enough; it’s usually the ones who push people away who need help the most. However, if Anko said she never wanted to see her again after what’s happened with Orochimaru–let’s face it, regardless of her circumstances and intentions, Aina really screwed up when it came to him–she would understand and abide by her wishes.
