Most people who know her as more...eclectic and outwardly confident, acting more like a traditional business woman/ negotiator in front of company in her adult body. She is always trying to mitigate and negotiate so everyone's happy in a situation. Her methods are often considered...unorthodox. Whenever she is given a task, she will complete it with an almost work-dog like fervor, not really caring about the methods that she uses while completing it.
Her personality is more of a performance though, always trying to entertain and always trying to keep someone pleased. Most people have a "fight or flight" but Danielle has a "freeze and fawn." either usually freezing up or immediately trying to mitigate the situation. In actuality, Dani is a lot more quiet and reserved, usually enjoying to just sit in the corner and work on her inventions. After spending her entire adolescence in the foundation, she's still trying to adjust to normal society, let alone high society. So to not make a fool of herself, she prefers to watch social interactions from afar so she can mimic said interactions in front of clients. Her time in confinement also left her with a skewed sense of morality, but that never seemed to sway MC&D.
Danielle wants to be seen as someone who is respected or at least be treated equally which is why she always shapeshifts into her adult persona. It's hard, if not impossible to get respect from lovecrafian entities, stuck up CEOS and trust fund babies as a child so in her logic why not make it easier and take an adult body? Or at least that's what she tells herself. In actuality, it's more of a shield, preferring to pretend she had it all under control externally while internally she's an emotionally stunted mess. But, who wouldn't be with her upbringing and then her confinement?
Huh? Why does she need a sample of your DNA? Don't worry about that! Just give her the sample upfront! It's not like she really needed your permission to get it, one way or another, she'll get a sample. She was just trying to be polite and ask you to your face.
