October 2, 2013 - Dani Cafe
It's one of those days I've been waiting for... to be able to visit Teen Top's Niel cafe, Dani cafe. The cafe is located in Anyang, which is Niel's hometown too. But I guess it's not really his hometown from what I heard from Teen Top's interviews.
2nd of October was actually the last day of the career fair. Me and my friends decided to finish early with our interviews in the fair to be able to go to more places in Seoul. We finished around lunchtime but instead of eating first, we looked around the Gangnam area. I think it was around 3 when we decided to split up to be able to go to places we want to go to. Some of my friends are not actually into KPOP so they just went sightseeing around Seoul. My other friend is actually a SONE and an SM Ent fan so she went to SM. Oh! We actually went to SM last night before going to TOP Media but we mistakenly arrived at the old SM building. T^T As for me, well I'm Teen Top's Angel so I should be off then to Teen Top's haha! Well...time to go to Dani's!
From Gangnam, I went to Anyang. I think the trip was about an hour and a half. I just took the subway since it's cheaper and faster but I think I got confused with the transfers in the subway. Oh well, Seoul subway is quite confusing, haha!

Anyang station is quite big. But you can just follow the signs in the subway to be able to reach your destination. Oh right! See those stairs or escalators in the picture. Once you got off the escalators, just walk straight and you'll be able to see stairs again going to the underground mall. I decided to pass through the underground mall since it'll be more fun while window-shopping. Clothes and accessories there were really cheap!
Once you're out the underground mall, just a few minutes away from the cafe. From there, I think I just walked until the intersection and crossed the street. Then I went straight when I almost passed Dani cafe, haha!
(Thanks to that LED sign that says 카페다니, which means Cafe Dani, I found the place!)
I was really happy when I arrived Dani's. To my surprise, the cafe looked really big. I took my time first to take some pictures outside before going in.

You'll be able to see this huge Niel picture once you opened the door. Or maybe even before going in since it's a glass door. Oooops! My bad! Haha! This is actually one of my favorite Niel pictures.
Here we have the 2nd floor of the cafe. It was a dream come true to be able to go here huhuhuhuhuhuhu! Once I got in, I searched first for Niel's mom but she wasn't there when I arrived T^T. Oh well, let's order something first since I haven't eaten anything yet for lunch! ><
There were 3 girls taking care of the cafe that time. They were really kind and even spoke slowly for me since they thought I'm not Korean haha. After ordering food, they gave me this. Well most cafes and restaurants use this anyway haha.

This actually caught my attention. It's a small box with some tape in it. The tape has designs about Teen Top and Angels. Really cute and thoughtful of this Angel! There's her message too in the box.

After taking pictures, I went downstairs to wait for my food. I actually came by myself in the cafe so I don't know where to sit, maybe on a bigger or a smaller table. Hahaha! So much for my worries! I just sat on the farthest end of the cafe. That's when I realized I was sitting on the same spot when Niel and the other members visited the cafe last time! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah~~~
Haven't eaten anything yet so here's for lunch!

And oh! Around this time when Niel's mom came in the cafe. My heart suddenly beat so fast! It's like Niel came out from those doors. I was so nervous that time when Niel's mom appeared! I was preparing my gift and was about to leave that time when she came in! I was so happy she was there and that I could meet her too!
My gift was actually a Niel painting I made.
It's not as good as the other fanarts I've seen around the cafe but I did my best to make this!
I actually used this picture of Niel as a reference but it didn't look similar as my painting. Well, it has been a long time since I painted haha. Need to practice again! Oh! This is actually my favorite picture of Niel haha!
By the way, I also included a picture of my country's flag and a logo of a Teen Top fanclub in Philippines. Well, I'm also an admin there, just I help with some things haha!
To be honest, I really want Teen Top to know about us, Philippine Angels. KPOP is actually pretty famous in our country but I don't know how many Teen Top fans are there since I've been staying here in Korea for years already.
I also wrote a short message to our coffee prince at the back of the frame.
I finished my food even before Niel's mom came in. I was finding a perfect time to go to the counter to give back the dishes and also my gift. Niel's mom was actually busy managing the counter and making some patbingsoo. I can ever hear her voice from my seat. She is actually the same as when I am watching her in Mamma Mia, a TV show where she guested in with Niel for a couple of episodes.
I was really nervous when I got up and walked to the counter. She actually looked at me first and said "Thank you!" with a smile while receiving the tray of dishes. I answered back in Korean saying 잘 먹었습니다, which means I enjoyed the food. Then I told her that I have a gift for Niel. She said no need for gifts but she then shyly received the gift and asked me if I drew it. I also told her I came from the Philippines and a huge Teen Top fan. Then I just asked her if I can take a picture with her. I was talking with her in Korean but I stuttered a lot since I'm really nervous that time. She just told me to wait for a while to prepare some things in the kitchen. She was really busy and didn't even bother to take off her apron for the picture, haha. She's really kind and humble and I can see how Niel is the same.
Really grateful to her to raise such a nice and humble Ahn Daniel.

Oh well! It was a fun and memorable experience for me to be able to visit Dani cafe. Hope to be back soon. And next time with some Angels with me! Hihihi~~~
