Exciting News - Alice in Wonderland

Hello to anyone who has stumbled across this post.

The ballet company of my dance school are putting on our Christmas ballet once again. In 2015, we performed the Nutcracker and in 2017, Sleeping Beauty. This time - Alice in Wonderland.

Yesterday the teacher was discussing the ballet with my class as we are the oldest. We collectively planned the show and sorted the cast (the Cheshire Cat is yet to be cast from 3 students).

I am playing Alice.

Alice! I got the lead!

I’ve had large parts before, such as Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty, but never the lead! I’m so excited!

Rehearsals and choreography officially begin in September. I’ll keep everyone updated.

On that note: Here’s peter chauncey’s arrangement of the Lindsay Buckingham-penned Mac anthem. The recording was produced by former Monkees/Davy Jones sideman Johnny J. Blair (who also played bass & guitars). The amazing percussion and synthesizer work is by the mega-talented Daniel Berkman.
