Partying with the Langeraks - Part 4

Simon just realized he hasn’t seen Holly in a while, so he decides to go look for her. Meanwhile, check out Phillip’s face as he watches Brad and Liliana dance. As if that wasn't enough, he has to listen to the stories Jean keeps telling Gordon.

Well, Simon didn't find Holly, but André did find him to talk, or rather, to complain about how annoying and dull this party is. Thankfully, Simon is good with children, especially if the child is his own half-brother.

And... Holly has finally showed up. Apparently, she went to put on her swimsuit to go for a swim in the pool.

Another one who doesn’t seem amused is Tony. This is practically his first fight with Jeannine since they got married. Given his commitment issues trait, he wonders if he did the right thing in getting married again. Also, it seems that Phillip preferred to do his homework in order to overcome his boredom.

About two hours later, Daniel is back and ready to go in the pool. So is Bradley, who, after his long dance session with Liliana, has changed into his swimsuit and is ready for some fun. Too bad Meredith and Peggy have left. Phillip is still here, though, but Brad isn't the least bit interested in him.

Since Jeannine and Tony are not speaking to each other, she engages in a conversation with Daniel instead. Gloria goes on maximum alert.

It’s nothing personal, but she knows the story of how Jeannine stole Tony from Cassandra. In her opinion, once a husband stealer, always a husband stealer, so it’s best to keep an eye on her.

It’s been a while, and Jeannine is still monopolizing Daniel. What is she thinking? Does she plan to talk to him for the rest of the evening?

They have talked so animatedly for so long that even Tony got up from his chair and left. Gloria is seriously starting to worry now.

Simon and Holly, on the other hand, have just met again. They get along so well, and they’ve never had a fight, how enviable!

Partying with the Langeraks - Part 3

Downstairs, the party continues. It seems that Daniel managed to change Gloria’s conversation to prevent the boys from freaking out. Meanwhile, Bradley tries his luck asking Liliana Ichtaca to dance, as André attempts to strike up a conversation with the nannies, Meredith and Peggy.

Since Royce is more interested in Daniel and Gloria’s chatter than in keeping her company, Jessica entertains herself swimming in the pool.

André’s conversation with Meredith and Peggy didn’t last long cause Jean made his appearance.

Maybe he’s going to ask them to dance? Whatever the case, André’s moment to shine has been ruined.

And it was for nothing, cause Peggy quickly fled the scene, and Jean is yawning through Meredith's conversation. Guess the girls were better off with André. 🙄

Bradley, on the other hand, is having a great time dancing with Liliana, though Zoe and Peggy didn't like that one bit. Neither did Phillip Alto, since, according to rumors, he also has a crush on Brad. Looks like Bradley is well on his way to following in his father’s footsteps as a total charmer.

Jean seems more interested in taking photographs than in talking to the girls. Zoe and Meredith are not eager to talk to him either, as they only have eyes for Brad, but he seems busy with Miss Ichtaca for now.

It’s late kind of late and Daniel has to leave for one of his gigs. The downsides of being an ascending star singer.

Jessica wonders if she should leave too, as swimming in the pool with her stepmother isn't all that entertaining.

Jean is trying to impress Gordon with stories about his childhood in Champs Les Sims, while Meredith is bored stiff without Brad in sight. Simon and Royce seem equally as bored without Daniel’s gossip, but André seems to be the most bored of them all.

Partying with the Langeraks - Part 1

Well, I found these photos of the Langeraks during Tony and Jeannine’s anniversary party, and looking through them, I realized that, though it seemed like just another one of those chaotic Sims 3 parties, there was actually a lot going on there, so I decided to share it. 🤭

As we mentioned before, Tony and Jeannine Langerak recently celebrated their anniversary, so they decided to throw a party and invite their children, their friends, and some of their neighbors.

Among the family members attending were, of course, Simon, Daniel, Jessica, and Bradley, Tony’s children from his first marriage, the first three with their respective partners: Holly, Gloria, and Royce. In the foreground we can see Jessica, in the background are Simon (with glasses and a blue shirt), Daniel’s wife Gloria, and Tony and Jeannine’s eldest (teen) son, Jean.

Jean is chatting with his friend Gordon Greemswood while being eyed by Zoe Allston, the nanny to his infant siblings Henri and Marlene, who are not at this party cause they are just toddlers. Meanwhile, his young adult uncles and aunts Gloria, Royce and (further in the background), Holly, seem to have lost their respective partners among the crowd.

Bradley, Tony’s youngest son with his ex-wife Cassandra, is of course also enjoying the party before leaving for Cahaya (Inzoi town) to enjoy a sabbatical before starting college. As that day approaches, here we see him trying to get along with Peggy Patel, another of his half-siblings’ nannies. In the background, two more of his friends, Meredith Henderson and Phillip Alto.

It’s not just teenagers who are having fun at this party, but also young adults, like Gloria, who God knows what kind of story she’s telling her brothers-in-law Simon and Royce, but she seems to be making Daniel quite embarrassed.

Tony, for his part, didn’t escape the task of signing autographs. In this particular case to Brad and Jean’s friend, Meredith. The price of being a world-famous explorer and writer. 😉

Just Daniel and Gloria at the Bistro

Now let’s take a quick look at Daniel Langerak, (Tony’s second and most problematic son), and his wife, Gloria Goth, (possibly related to the Goth family from Sunset Valley). She's a premade from Island Paradise who, according to my gameplay, worked as a cleaning lady at the Langeraks' home to pay for her university, there she met Daniel, fell in love with him, and later married him. But the story of these two is not as easy as it sounds.

The reason I took these pics is because at that time I was reinstalling the Business & Bistro content from The Sims 3 store, which is one of my favorite DLC.

Gloria seemed quite nervous that day. I guess she and Daniel were discussing their past in college with their beloved friends Sean Vidal and Ashley Alto, who are now also married to each other.

Daniel and Gloria have a more or less steady marriage, they have successful careers, and two little twin daughters whom they adore. But like I said, their story isn’t that simple, in fact it’s quite complicated cause Daniel has not completely forgotten his past with Sean, which often makes Gloria feel very insecure.

What has been happening in Island Paradise?

Well, for starters, Jeannine went to see the fortune teller.

For a modest fee, the psychic agreed to tell her what she knew:

Things should get better, huh? Who knows.

On the one hand, her relationship with Tony is going wonderfully, but on the other…

Cassandra, Tony's ex-wife, has been calling him. She says she wants to see him to propose a very good business deal. 'Business', yeah right…

Tony sent a spy, A.K.A. his son Daniel, to find out what his mother was up to. Cassandra's proposal is simple: she wants Tony to run for mayor of Island Paradise.

Tony's answer was definitely no; he's not interested in politics at all! And as far as he knows, neither is Cassandra.

Except that her ex-boyfriend is running for mayor of Island Paradise, he recently cheated on her, they broke up, and now she wants to get back at him by supporting Tony as his opponent to beat him in the election. What a plan!

Luckily, Tony has no intention of playing along, and is too busy with his new family, so yeah, good luck with that, Cass!

Note: Tony running for Island Paradise mayor, then governor, and venturing into politics was the next part of my story “Tony's World Adventures”, which I was unable to continue for the reasons I have already explained here, but this is basically what will happen if I ever continue the story. This is a total spoiler, I know. I even had some scenes written. God knows I loved this story more than any other, because Tony is my favorite OC ever, but I already have too much on my plate, especially in real life, so this is going to be it for now. Expect to see a little bit Langeraks' gameplay, though.

A brief and temporary change...

Hey guys, sorry for the lack and slow pace of my posts lately. Work and real life are keeping me busy.

I'm currently working at full speed on Episode 236 of Time Traveler, which is quite long, so it might take me a couple more weeks. As for The Cho Brothers - Starlight Shores, starring Tyron Cho, it will continue shortly, but first, expect a very small series of posts from my Island Paradise save, featuring the Langeraks, specifically Tony and his family. This won't be a story, just some gameplay posts, cause those photos have been sitting in my files since February '24, which is where I am right now. Go figure, 2025 is almost over and I can't finish posting 2024!

I really need to finish posting all this backlogged material so I can bring my Sims stories to a close and possibly go back to playing The Sims 3 just for fun, without the pressure to post.

I know there's no such pressure except the one I put on myself, but when I play, I can't stop taking pictures, and once I take them, I just have to share them, lol, that's why my computer is full of old photos I don't know when/if I'll post. I guess I'll never learn. 😄

Also, there will also be more posts about my InZOI gameplay, one of whose protagonists, Bradley, incidentally, belongs to this Langerak family and was one of my first Sims to make the jump to InZOI.

Anyway, expect to see some glimpses of Tony and his family in Island Paradise. About Tyron, again, he will be back very soon, I hope! These days, I'm never sure what I will or won't be able to achieve with The Sims, so I don't want to make any promises, All I can promise is that I'll do my best. 😉🩷

Yay! More Langerak's photo spam. We're at the Langerak-Steele house in Island Paradise. This is Daniel, Tony and Cassandra's second born son. Daniel was attempting to fix the sink. It wasn't any easy, but in the end he did it and gained one point in the Handiness skill. =)
