Emmanuel Sanchez triangles Daniel Straus in the 3rd!
Amazing fight and performance from Sanchez in the co-main event of Bellator 184. Straus came out strong in the 1st round, taking Sanchez down and opening up with the GnP. BUT Sanchez still manages to threaten for submission, locking up a knee bar and closing the round out by taking Straus’ back. Sanchez comes out in the 2nd and just lays it on Straus. Gets to mount and spends the last 60-90 seconds of the round just pounding him from mount.
Straus gets the TD in the 3rd but gets caught in a reverse triangle. Sanchez switches it up and locks Straus down and gets the sub.
Have to Sanchez is gonna be fighting for a title against the Pitbull-Weichel 2 winner. He earned it with that performance.
Two fights announced for Bellator 184. Caldwell finally gets that title shot against Dantas and Straus looks to rebound from a loss against a streaking Emmanuel Sanchez. Plus Curran-Teixeira 2 rumored for the card.
Patricio Pitbull recaptures the title! Guillotines Straus in the 2nd.
When you’re gone for a year, perhaps Pitbull shouldn’t be your welcome back fight. Shouts to Pitbull who becomes the 2x featherweight champion and the most winningest man in Bellator history at 14.
Pitbull continues to pull Bellator peaks over 1 million viewers. Props.
