Do any of the angels/Morgan fall in love easily and/or let them fall in love easily?
okay so the short answer is no???? but i’m gonna break this down and i guess i’ll do it in alphabetical order.
daniel-- alright this boy is grouchy as hell and also like demiromantic and demisexual so like.... he falls in love with people who can push past the grumpiness and stick around? but honestly like anyone who can handle his attitude problem is good for him. BUT. he knows he’s made mistakes and he also views himself as a little ‘dangerous’ and he doesn’t necessarily think himself deserving of love and tends to push people away.
gabriel-- okay so. gabriel is a weird case because he loves freely and frequently but never deeply. gabriel cares about people and he doesn’t hesitate to do so but he doesn’t get so attached that losing or leaving them hurts. gabriel’s never really been in love and after watching what happened with raphael and morgan, he doesn’t really think he wants to be.
leo-- ho boy. HO BOY. okay so leo is just.............. lonely as heeeeeell. bc he’s inadvertently isolated himself. he left his old life as an angel behind and joined up with the opposite side but demons don’t trust him and angels don’t like him. so he’s PARANOID but once you get past that paranoia??? like if leo genuinely believes someone cares about him, he will love them with everything he has and he doesn’t hold anything back. sometimes that love is platonic and sometimes it’s romantic but it’s just SO MUCH bc leo has a lot of love to give but he doesn’t have anyone really to give it to so like. yeah.
morgan-- morgan has has her heart broken so. many. times. bc she just keeps trying??? and when i first started writing her, she was done trying for a while, but eventually she just.... was ready to try again??? and so she keeps doing it. she keeps getting invested in people and even tho it ends up hurting her a lot in the long run, she just can’t stop?? she has all this time and she just wants to be able to use it well and part of that is falling in love and she’s always a little hesitant and she sometimes pushes people away, but... she’s still willing to try.
raphael-- morgan was his first and only love and it got so fucked up that raphael is very reluctant to try again. and he can and has in some verses, but it’s so hard for him to fall in love bc of his nature. he’s so so so loyal but he also feels betrayal so extremely and his loyalty once lost is hard to regain??? so it’s just... really hard for him to love and he’s also not ready to try again quite yet.
zach-- okay zach’s touch is literally dangerous so. he’s pretty much ‘no’ about the idea of falling in love. but he is actually a pretty caring person. he’s a little colder than some of the angels because of his nature. he sees a lot of the harsher sides of humans and like raphael, his duties involve less like... spreading of something and more like... punishing those who do it??? and that means he doesn’t really see a lot of good in the world but he does know it’s there and he does have a softer side and under the right circumstances, he’s definitely capable of falling in love.
