Alex leaves her paintbrushes everywhere. And one day when Danny is 4 or 5 he actually is really curious about what his mom does when he finds one between the couch cushions. So Alex introduces him to finger painting and they end up making a huge mess that somehow ends up extending to the hallway walls. Naturally Damon practically pops a blood vessel and when he starts to lecture Danny and Alex (all while they're sitting Danny's bean bag seats in his room) before Danny flicks his hand at Damon's face and it gets covered in lime green paint. Alex falls off the bean bag laughing and Danny smiles at his dad before running out the room to hide
