i started reading You Wouldn’t Like Me Alive by @ectoplasmranch it’s so good i can’t overstate how awesome the descriptions and dialogue is it really puts a picture in my head if that makes sense anyways here’s my interpretation of what danny looks like

Thinking back on my old au idea called Human Conductor

It was about how after the accident, rather than becoming a ghost, Danny was just more susceptible to ectoplasm

His body drank in a huge amount of it during the accident, to the point that ectoplasmic entryways were made in his body. Ectoplasm then overly accumulates in his body, constantly drinking it in to the point of causing seizures

His parents made bracelets and a collar to repel ectoplasm, but all it does is just accumulating all the energy in his body to those specific points. And so it builds and builds until it releases

It turns out, using his voice box he can mimic the hum of a ghost core! And he can use that to command the ectoplasm in his body to do stuff similar to a ghost’s powers!

Ghosts from the portal are still terrorizing the town, so Danny uses the left over bracelets to help accumulate the ectoplasm near his feet and his torso, along with the ones he already has, to give him all the strength he needs to protect amity park

I made this Leonardo Hamato x Octavia Goetia x Danny Fenton/Phantom + pansexual x asexual x bisexual pride collage because I HC Leo as pan and Danny as bi. Via’s canonically asexual, and I fully respect that. But they’re all poly, and I see polyamory as a queer identity.

This ship actually started because my friend @amethystoceandespiser and I made a Scott Pilgrim Takes Off AU with Danny as Scott and Via as Ramona. My friend suggested Raph as Lucas Lee, and I loved it so much that it got me into casting the disaster twins, Leo and Donnie, as the Katayanagi Twins. I don’t remember every detail, but I DO remember that this AU made me ship Jazz Fenton with Raph, which then made me add the ROTTMNT verse into our Danny Phantom x Hellaverse crossover. And it just kept expanding from there lol.

Anywhoodle, Danny and Octavia were the slowest slow burn ever, just stumbling into each other’s feelings until it finally became something more. Then Leo literally crashed into their lives through a portal, caught feelings for Danny instantly, caught feelings for Octavia by accident, and immediately panicked. He backed off out of respect for their friendship, even though it hurt.

In my fic they go through some pretty heavy stuff over the years, and after everything they survive, Danny and Octavia become a couple and move in together - but their new place feels wrong without Leo. So they pull him in as their roommate, which only makes Leo fall for both of them even harder. Eventually he confesses, and instead of politely turning him down, Danny and Octavia admit they feel the same.

So now it’s the three of them, a trio of star‑crossed kids who finally got the ending they deserved.

Yes, Danny, Via, and Leo are my crossover ship OT3, and I like to call them Spectral Starry Portals and Haunting Portal Eclipse.

Think of Danny and Leo's relationship dynamic as being similar to Danny Fenton x Manny Rivera (TigerGhost), and Leo and Via's dynamic resembling Aang x Katara (Kataang) and Beast Boy x Raven (2003 BBRae).

I think I just found/made my new phone wallpaper! I love them so much! 😭✨
