Shaping the Future of Surfboard Design: Danny Hess, San Francisco

Danny Hess is one of the world's premiere wooden surfboard shapers. His willingess to be exposed to the work of other craftsmen and shapers has set his work apart. Learning from others has allowed him to apply different techniques and utilize different materials.

Living, working and commuting in a neighborhood of the city called the Outer Sunset in San Francisco, being close to his beloved Ocean Beach is a dream come true for Danny.
