ARCANE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: 2x06 - “The Message Hidden Within the Pattern”
The GLOW UP that fucking Huck got. My man went full on soft-core barefoot husbando. And Yeah I am gonna say it. Vander keeps huck around because he's also a skinny dude with a big nose with bad ethics.
“I studied a minute, sort of holding my breath, and then says to myself: ‘All right then, I’ll go to hell.’”
-Mark Twain, Huckleberry Finn
Would Being Shaken In a Jar Fix These Cosmere Characters?
As requested by anon. :)
[Spoiler for Wind & Truth only in the Shallan entry!]
1. Elhokar: Yes
There is nothing Elhokar needs more than to be shaken in a jar.
2. Vasher: No
Vasher would refuse to be fixed. Post jar-shaking he'd be like, "What? Was that supposed to accomplish something?"
3. Shallan: Yes [WIND AND TRUTH SPOILERS]
Once Shallan has her armor, being shaken in a jar would be good fun for the whole family. Her armor would LOVE to try to protect her each time she's about to slam into the sides of a jar. They'd probably even succeed like 80% of the time!
4. Szeth: No
Szeth's whole life has essentially been him being shaken in a jar. He needs to NOT be shaken in a jar for once in his life.
5. Iyatil: Yes
Honestly, Iyatil could use some jar-shaking. I think Kelsier needs to come to Roshar and shake most members of the Rosharan Ghostbloods in jars.
6. Hrathen: Yes
Specifically, if Sarene were doing the shaking, that would fix Hrathen. Possibly give him an unfortunate kink at the same time, though.
7. Kaladin: No
Kaladin is using his surges to expertly bounce off the walls of the jar, refusing to be shaken.
8. Huck: No!
I think that's animal cruelty! Mice should be put in piping bags when they need to reset, not be shaken in jars!
9. Dalinar: No
Dalinar is so stubborn that if you shake him in a jar, it is somehow the jar that gets the effect, rather than him.
10. Ulaam: No, but he'd really enjoy it
For Ulaam, it would be like a lovely weekend activity, being shaken in a jar. He'd probably wear some extra elbows for the occasion.
11. Venli: At times
I think Venli is good now, but during some of the earlier books, Venli definitely could have used some quick jar shaking.
12. Vivenna: Yes
Canonically, even. What was Warbreaker if not Vivenna being shaken in a jar?
13. Jasnah: No
I-I got chills even imagining someone trying that. It's a deeply foolish idea.
14. Wayne: Yes
He'd just like it.
15. Kenton: No
It would only make Kenton angrier...more stubborn... He WILL break out of this jar, one day, no matter HOW many concussions he's getting! (He's getting a lot.)
16. Renarin: Perhaps
Renarin could be fixed if he could shake himself in a jar when the need arose. Being shaken in a jar in any other circumstances would not be good, however.
17. Dilaf: No but you should do it anyway
Dalif is BIG MAD about being shaken in a jar. But, like, it's funny.
18. Hoid: No but you should do it anyway
Hoid's telling a whole damn novel-length story while he's being shaken in the jar. So it's not fixing him, but perhaps the rest of us might learn something along the way. Also, it's funny.
19. Kelsier: It would make him worse
Kelsier has now declared revenge on all jars! That jam jar was innocent, Kelsier. :(
20. Vin: No one will ever know
Vin broke that jar IMMEDIATELY.
"Allow us a moment of civility, Jayce. We must talk."
Huck, Akane and Captain Ultra out hunting aliens.
Ocs Lys and Huck
I was listening to the audiobook while working and erupted with laughter at this and everyone was side eyeing me. I LOVE HUCK 🐀! He has my heart. Also at this point i don’t give a fuck about Charlie :3
