If Brendan had stayed on the show.

Doug and John Paul probably would have become more of a couple, both of them rebounding. John Paul from Craig and Doug from Ste.

Though I'm sure John Paul would have seen that Doug was still in love with Ste and they broke up perhaps. Who knows if they would have gotten back together. All I know about their relationship is that they kissed and went out a bit and then Doug was back with Ste when he died.

Not sure if the show would still have killed off Doug.

Also not sure if John Paul and Danny would still have happened, probably they love those kinds of stories with John Paul.

They still would have the same enemies storyline with John Paul and Ste. Where Ste was mad that John Paul had Doug, Brendan, and Ste's dad Danny.

I'm getting off target.

But I could see them having John Paul giving Ste all sorts of shit that John Paul had been with Ste's ex-husband, the love of his life, and his dad.

On the other hand, you just know that Brendan being Brendan would have messed with Doug over the fact that Brendan and John Paul had a one-night stand. Because Brendan knew how insecure Doug was about Brendan in Ste's life. Add on that Brendan also slept with Doug's new fella after Ste.

Danny has not only a gay son and grandson but his granddaughter (Peri) is bi too.

Sam tells Danny she knows he’s having an affair with John Paul and can’t believe how low he has gone to keep his secret. She tells him to go do whatever he wants, as the relationship is destroyed and can’t be fixed.

Danny why George leave the poor boo alone!!!

Danny: She doesn’t need to know. She’s been seeing all sorts of things and now we know it’s all down to the tumour

Ste: Wow so you think it’s right to have her beleive she imagined you and John Paul

Danny: It’s best she thinks that, peri is fighting for her life isn’t what she’s going through enough. I’m doing what’s best for my family

Ste: Oh and you think keeping it a secret and lying to them is what’s best for them? The best for OUR family

Danny: I didn’t plan on lying to peri but when she started wondering if it was the tumour I went along with it

Ste: You ain’t just a cheat Danny! Your a liar and if you could do that to your own daughter what could you do to me eh? So don’t think for one second I’m keeping this a secret

Danny: How would you feel if you didn’t have a big family around you Steven. You dare destroy this family, MY FAMILY you’ll be back out of it for good

—I’ve always hated Danny he pretends to be the sweetest father when he’s hiding his double life at any cost. The fact that he promised ste he would tell Sam and didn’t. He just lies and lies. Not being in ste life and now they are finally making up lost time, to say all this is so hurtful when he’s been going on how Pauline kept him away from ste his entire life. I hope ste moves back into the old flat. He dosnt need this drama
