AU: crossover AU
Fandoms: Danny Phantom, justice league
Characters: Danny Phantom, Circe (Justice League), Ember Mclaine
Danny and his friends are fighting Ember again, trying to usurp the main act of an upcoming jazz singer called Circe that came on a tour to Amity park. Circe, is absolutely livid that someone is trying to steal he show, so she sneaks up and tries to attack Ember herself with her magic
But she didn't notice that Ember engaged in battle with the local hero, and ended up having to be saved by him, only for Ember to hit them both with her love spell, making Danny fall in love with the ancient villainess. she of course is immune... but having the attention of a young man is way too tempting for her to deny herself some romantic fun with him, making the goth brat that critisizes her music jealous is a plus
The outdoor amphitheater in Amity Park had survived ghost attacks, food fights, and one disastrous talent show involving Dash Baxter and a flaming motorcycle.
It was not prepared for two supernatural singers fighting over the stage.
“Remember!” Ember McLain shouted as she hovered above the audience, blue flames blazing through her ponytail. “Tomorrow night, Ember is the only name anyone needs to hear!”
The entranced crowd roared her name.
Behind the stage, the concert’s scheduled main performer stared upward with murder in her violet eyes.
Circe had spent weeks organizing this tour. She had endured managers, mortal contracts, cheap dressing rooms, and people asking whether her name was pronounced Sir-see.
Now some deceased teenager with a guitar was stealing her audience.
“My performance,” Circe hissed, magical energy curling around her fingers, “is being interrupted by a screeching little phantom dressed like an angry yard-sale mannequin.”
Sam Manson, standing nearby, folded her arms. “Honestly, her early work was better.”
Circe slowly turned toward her.
“You criticize music while dressed like a haunted eggplant?”
Sam’s eye twitched. “I already hate her.”
Above them, Danny Phantom dodged a burst of blue fire.
“Ember, people bought tickets to hear someone else sing!”
“Then they made the wrong choice!” Ember slammed her guitar strings, sending a flaming shockwave toward him. “Nobody remembers the opening act once Ember hits the stage!”
Danny turned intangible, letting the attack pass through him.
Unfortunately, Circe had chosen that exact moment to emerge from behind the curtains.
She raised both hands, gathering a sphere of golden magic.
“You wretched little amateur!” Circe declared. “Nobody steals Circe’s audience!”
The shockwave struck her before she could finish.
Circe was thrown from the stage.
Danny’s eyes widened.
“Oh, crud.”
He flew downward, catching her seconds before she hit the pavement. His arms wrapped around her back and knees as they stopped inches above the ground.
Circe blinked.
The young ghost boy holding her looked surprisingly heroic up close—white hair, glowing green eyes, and an expression caught between concern and absolute panic.
“Are you okay?” Danny asked.
Circe’s irritation briefly softened.
“How gallant.”
“Hey!” Ember snarled.
Danny looked up just as Ember struck another chord.
A heart-shaped wave of crimson energy erupted from her guitar and crashed directly into them.
Danny’s body went rigid.
His glowing eyes flashed pink.
Circe felt the enchantment wash over her mind, searching for something to seize. It found nothing. Compared to the compulsions, curses, and divine passions Circe had endured across centuries, Ember’s love spell was the magical equivalent of cheap perfume.
Danny, however, stared at the woman in his arms as though the universe had suddenly begun revolving around her.
“Wow,” he whispered.
Circe raised an eyebrow.
Danny gently lowered her to her feet but continued holding her hand.
“You’re…amazing.”
From across the amphitheater, Sam’s expression collapsed into horror.
“Oh, no.”
Tucker checked his ghost scanner. “Danny’s been hit by Ember’s love spell again.”
Ember floated closer, wearing a victorious grin—until she noticed where Danny’s attention had gone.
Danny lifted Circe’s hand and kissed her knuckles.
“My lady,” he said dreamily, “allow me to defend your honor.”
Circe’s lips curved into a delighted smile.
“Well.”
She knew precisely what had happened. She could have dispelled Ember’s enchantment with a gesture.
But Danny was handsome, polite, and currently gazing at her with undivided adoration.
More importantly, the goth girl nearby looked ready to chew through concrete.
Circe slipped an arm around Danny’s shoulder.
“My brave young champion,” she purred. “Would you remove that noisy little distraction from my stage?”
“With pleasure.”
Danny shot upward with enough force to crack the pavement.
Ember barely avoided his flying kick.
“What are you doing?!” she screamed. “You’re supposed to be obsessed with me!”
“You attacked Circe!”
“I was aiming at both of you!”
“That makes it worse!”
Danny unleashed a barrage of ectoplasmic blasts. Ember blocked them with her guitar, staring in disbelief as the boy she had intended to enslave fought harder than ever—for another singer.
Below, Circe watched with her hands folded pleasantly beneath her chin.
Sam marched over.
“You know he’s under a spell.”
“Of course.”
“And you’re enjoying this.”
“Immensely.”
“He’s sixteen.”
Circe glanced at her.
“My dear gloomy child, I am allowing him to compliment me and assault my rival. I am not proposing marriage.”
Danny slammed Ember through a speaker tower.
Circe applauded.
Sam scowled. “You called my outfit a haunted eggplant.”
“And yet you remain dressed like one.”
Before Sam could respond, Ember crashed onto the stage. Danny landed between her and Circe, fists glowing.
“Stay away from her.”
Ember rose unsteadily, blue fire flaring with outrage.
“This is humiliating! I’m Ember McLain! I’m the queen of rock!”
Circe stepped beside Danny.
“And I,” she said, golden magic surrounding her, “am the woman whose stage you attempted to steal.”
With a flick of her wrist, Circe transformed Ember’s guitar into a squawking chicken.
Ember stared at it.
The chicken pecked her nose.
Ember screamed and retreated through a glowing portal, shouting promises of revenge while the chicken flapped after her.
The enchanted crowd slowly regained awareness.
Danny turned toward Circe, still wearing his lovestruck smile.
“Would you let me escort you to dinner?”
Circe considered him, then glanced at Sam’s furious expression.
Her smile became positively wicked.
“Perhaps after my concert.”
Sam groaned.
Circe finally touched one finger to Danny’s forehead. Golden light flashed, shattering Ember’s spell.
Danny blinked.
He looked at Circe.
He looked at their joined hands.
Then he saw Sam.
“Oh,” he muttered. “This is going to be a problem.”
Circe kissed his cheek before releasing him.
“For what it is worth, little hero, you were exceptionally charming.”
Danny’s face turned bright red.
Sam’s turned even redder.
Circe swept toward the stage, laughing as the orchestra began playing.
Behind her, Tucker leaned toward Danny.
“So…are we buying tickets for the concert?”
Danny watched Circe take the microphone beneath the golden stage lights.
Sam glared at him.
“…Maybe three tickets.”

I imagined that one reason Sam is possessive over Danny is because she sees him as her best option for a future husband. Sam always knew th
Continuation from the post above:
Tucker teased Sam and Danny about being "lovebirds" but as time passed, he began regretting that, seeing how Sam grew to see Danny as her "emergency husband."
He resents Sam for that "emergency plan" and how it ended up making him like a blind jerk for the "lovebirds" joke.
Since the Accident, Tucker has been quietly resenting Sam over it, and eventually, he began resenting Sam over her "emergency plan" with Danny.
Over 60+ Followers Now?! (Redo)
Vlad: *smiles wickedly* I see that you’ve come to your senses and have joined our little community. It means a great deal to Owen and myself so we’re still planning some sort of celebration for obtaining more than 50 followers. What to do though...?
Owen: We could try making a video or something, they might like that. How about we make a lore video talking about the new or alternate content in our story and the author's plans for adding some unused content from the show that Butch Hartman himself confirmed in a video on his channel? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpnBYCR6-d4 I shared a link to this before but here you go again!)
Vlad: That’s one idea, yes. *turns to viewers, hands held regally behind his back as usual* Tell me, would you enjoy that? Or would you prefer something based solely on the show Danny Phantom itself? Please, let us know in a comment below so we can begin the preparations.
It’s Halloween!! Finally!! Sorry my post is later than normal, but I had to finish it last minute 😅
Anyway! Enjoy Danny and Ellie trick-or-treating in a ghost riddled Amity Park!
Finally got around to posting my art for the Phandom Holiday Truce! I got the awesome @ghosttrolls and their prompts. They were all so good, but the one I went with was “Is it possible to grieve over yourself?”
Hope you enjoy! Happy holidays, friend!
So this is so random but I got back into Danny Phantom. I’ve been rewatching episodes and consuming so much fanart and fanfic it’s insane. So naturally I had to draw my version of him. I only did his ghost form here, cause I plan to draw his human look later. Enjoy!
