THIS IS A REALLY GOOD DANNY/JACKSON FANFIC
http://archiveofourown.org/works/556042?view_adult=true
Summary:
No one can really blame Derek for relying on the wrong people to save the day.
In which Scott is in a corner, Danny is dying, Stiles has awesome ideas, Lydia rises to her BAMF status, and Isaac is overlooked. Oh, and Jackson is mainly there to look pretty.
Best fucking part:
“You’re a girl!” Stiles made it sound like the most obvious answer in the world. “You have a—” His fingers came together and made a sort of twisting motion before thrusting upwards into the air. “A-a thing! For the – All girls have—!” It didn’t help that everyone else was staring at him just as uncomprehendingly. “A tampon! I need a tampon!”
I LAUGHED SO FUCKING HARD. THIS IS THE BEST

Are you okay? You didn't answer my texts all week. I'm getting worried about you.
Jackson/Danny - awkward first date
"This is weird," Jackson says for the seventh time that night, "I shouldn't have done this." Danny rolls his eyes. "You said yes. Hell, you're the one who came to me, remember?" "I shouldn't have." Jackson tugs on the cuffs of his sleeves. "This was a big mistake." He forces a huge grin. "Hey, let's just forget about it. Go home, hang out, watch the game." "Jackson. First of all, there's no game tonight. Second of all, it's still me. Since when do you give a crap how you act around me?" He knows the answer, and he sure as hell knows how Jackson feels right now. It's nervewracking, when you try and make that leap from friends to more. It was nervewracking for Danny, when Jackson mumbled (drunk, of course, and in the dead of night) that he'd go on a date with him. "If you liked guys," Danny slurred, "yeah, yeah, I know." "Naw," Jackson says, and his hand falls heavy on Danny's shoulder. His face close and earnest and wide-eyed. Danny stopped breathing. "I mean, for real, I'd go on a date with you. 'F you asked." "I'll ask, then," Danny said when his heart had stopped thudding like a freight train in his ears. "When you're sober." And he did. And Jackson had turned away and shrugged and said, "I guess." Which was close enough to a yes. Maybe the venue's at fault. Jackson said he wanted to do a real date, so here they are at dinner, but if "real" means "really awkward" Danny kind of wishes the date were a little faker. He wants to date Jackson, not Jackson-trying-desperately-not-to-screw-things-up. He does enough of that in his normal life, and Danny doesn't want to encourage even more of it.
"You really think it's a mistake?" he asks softly. Jackson looks at him, scowls, and turns away, pretending to be incredibly curious about the bottles of wine lined up on the restaurant walls. "Cause if you want to go home, it's cool. We can forget the whole thing ever happened." "No we can't," Jackson snaps. "I'm not wussing out of this. I said I'd go, so here I am." "Yeah, yeah, OK, gold medal for you." Danny leans forward and props up his chin on his hand. "We can still go." Jackson grabs his wrist, yanking his hand forward. Danny nearly falls face first into his linguini. But now Jackson's holding his hand, cuffing it firmly to the table, and his eyes are blazing. "I'm doing this," he says, "and I'm not going home early and I'm not forgetting about it." Danny fights down the sudden lump in his throat. It has no business being there, not even with Jackson's hand on his. They fucking full-body check each other every day, so this reaction is completely irrational. "Why?" Jackson reddens. Anyone else but Jackson would say something embarrassing at that point. And anyone else but Danny would need to hear it. But they both get it without a word. Danny steels himself to endure another few awkward hours. The brief, tentative kiss at his door at the end of the date is well worth the pain.
Danny, Always
breakin' my Teen Wolf fic cherry...
Next Week's Episode
Ok, so this is my headcanon, i'm not trying to hate on other ships, but why would Jackson be attacking people at a gay bar? We know he's not homophobic. Maybe he went after guys who were hitting on Danny? Rewatch tonight's episode - after Danny says about Matt, "it doesn't matter, in case you haven't noticed, he's obsessed with Allison" - Jackson kind of gives this sigh of relief and relaxes (right after the camera switches angles). So. I think it would be cute if this developed :)
