Jacks POV being in first person is definitely going to be interesting considering we’ve never seen Stephanie write in first person before 😭
also for those who don’t know first person uses pronouns like “I saw, I felt, my heart, my skin”
while Stephanie usually writes in third person with pronouns like “she saw, he felt, her heart, her skin”

Guys I think I just found a big connection between Caraval and OUABH…

Ok so I was re reading Finale and I got to the part of Evangeline’s cameo and I noticed this.
Legend mentions someone named “Delilah” which I don’t remember hearing about in the series before. And as legend says she apparently peddles potions during Caraval. Also she was mentioned in the only part of the book that mentions Evangline specifically- so she’s already connected to Evangline. I don’t know how I recalled this but i somehow remembered where I had heard the name before- the B&N bonus content in OUABH…
Legend doesn’t say “Delilah Sage” but when it comes to Stephanie’s books coincidences don’t really happen.
So then I started to read the B&N version and I noticed all the references to bells and bells having an inhuman sense of hearing. That brought me back to the Caraval collectors editon…
WHY ALL THE MENTION OF BELLS???
From the way the girl in the collectors edition is described it’s obvious it’s Evangline- especially because it happens in her fathers shop.
BUT WHO IS THE MAN???
From the apple in the B&N edition we can infer one of them is Jacks in that version- but from the material in the collectors edition we can’t make that connection strangely enough.
If any of you have any ideas please reblog with your own theories!! These are all the connections I made but I’m sure there might be more!
