Marley, and this isn’t romantically either. They have such a cute friendship–(I’m saying have because they’re still going, shut up)–but Puck isn’t big on the whole PDA outside of being in a relationship. And since Rachel hurt him so much when they broke up, he’s fairly standoffish. But Marley will grab his hand when she’s excited; pulling him to the cinema, grabbing it on a ride, just because she’s overexcited during a conversation. He lets her because, let’s be real, he loves her.

💘: who developed a crush on the other first?

Puck. Okay, okay, okay, I know they were never together and it wouldn’t go past friendship but hear me out. My baby loved Marley, like a ton. And it wasn’t like a creepy “I want you, why don’t you want me?” type of crush. He just liked her. He liked her smile and her laugh and how she didn’t treat him like some sex toy like every other girl did, using him to feel pretty or special just because he didn’t know how to say no. Anyway, he fairly got over it but–sometimes, especially when he visits her at college–he can’t deny how fucking pretty she is. Dumb butt.

💓: who initiates most physical contact?

Probably Marley for the same reason as the hand-holding. She doesn’t see it as anything romantic, and neither does he really, so she’ll hug him or grab his hand and he’s left in this little cloud of confusion because this chick digs him in ways other chicks don’t and that’s weird. But it feels nice. Like a good burger or a really hot pepper that makes his stomach warm. Plus they play fight a lot and Marley can convince Puck for a piggyback ride fairly easily.

💟: who spends time reading their zodiac compatibilities?

Both, and let me tell you why ‘cause it’s making me laugh. Neither of them take it particularly seriously but one night, when Marley’s stressed with school and Ryder and other girls, Puck can’t help. He’s trying but his words are awkward and dumb and kind of all over the place. He’s not good with stuff like that, he tends to make too many jokes and that gets on peoples nerves.

So, instead, he reads her horoscope. “Marls, listen. This says you’re going to do something huge and we both know that Ryder isn’t packing much or you wouldn’t be this upset so it’s clearly talking about something more than your sex life. Which you don’t have. Tell me nothing about that. Fuck.” or “So I’m reading that you have something big lined up in your career. Who knew waitresses could make it big?”

And he does it in a dumbass voice to hear her laugh, making her read his back until she’s happy again. Then they find out they’ve not got the best compatibility and call it bullshit – but, and they’ll deny it probably, they check in on the others zodiac from time to time.

💛: who believes in soulmates?

Puck. The fucking idiot. He acts like this big dope, and he is, but he genuinely wants to feel important and like he belongs. Quinn and Rachel, well they kind of fucked him up and it all got sort of weird and he turned into a pussy for a while but he genuinely believes that there has to be someone out there for him.

He’s sure Marley came into his life for a reason though. Technically they shouldn’t know each other; he should have been in LA, making names and fucking Real Housewives but instead he was in Lima and this mousey little girl kind of turned his world around. It was weird, kinda like he was on a ride at Six Flags or something. Anyway, he believes all this shit happens for a reason.

It has to.
