Here is a how to bc a handful of people asked when I made the jonbubu
First!
Take your lafufu, use a seam ripper around the edge of the face plate, and unstuff it. Leave the stuffing in the ears or it’ll have ugly floppy ears
While you do this, behead your funko pop. I chose this Dany bc you don’t want long hair, you have to carve it off, it looks shite, it’s a whole thing. So this Dany was easiest bc it was just cutting off the end of the braid. I’m in the uk and these game of thrones funkos are less than £5 on Vinted, the only one that didn’t break when I beheaded it was Theon so keep that in mind! Soften the plastic with boiling water, and you can pop the head off quite easily. I used a penknife to take the braid off.
Second!
Slot the head into the lafufu. You might need to cut more of the back of the head off, or add some of the stuffing back in, or sew a dart on the hood to tighten the rim. For this one, I had to make the hood smaller (in pic 2 there’s some black thread on the right from me doing this)
Glue LOADS around the peg and hole at the neck. Then do a smaller amount of glue around the edge of the hood. I use super glue, but glue guns are good as well, just the strings are tricky with the fur.
Then make some clothes!
For Dany, I’ve wrapped and knotted some purple fabric around her to kind of look like the Qartheen dress she has, and bc purple is just her colour always.
I also did some gold chains just to make her look more queenly? Idk, it’s just loops of these tiny chains with some little jump rings.
Make accessories! I made a flaying knife for Ramsay, used an action figure sword for Jon, and reused the funko bow and arrow for Theon. But for Dany I want her to be more book Dany so I used air drying clay to make her crown. I don’t have sculpting tools so this is what I could manage with my hands.
I painted and glued on the crown (threaded the tag through it so it sat neatly between her ears) the crown is really not the best but it’s a cute little craft and doesn’t have to be perfect
And then I got her a little Viserion… and she’s finished!
