 “G-Ghaah... i-itai... where the hell am I?”

The confused and aching raccoon dog mumbles to himself as blackness was all he saw, just as his eyes would open, then squint immediately from a stray ray of sunlight catching through the canopies and right into his eyes. Danzaburou would hiss and shield his face with his arms, causing him to roll on his side clumsily as he’d grunt.

 “Huah... mendokusai... that was some fine mess ya got me into, Janus... just where the hell am I now?” he’d roll back over onto his back and push himself off the ground, bouncing back on his feet as he’d then shake his small, rotund body clear of dirt and leaves, clearly having fallen in from on high... somehow. His beady eyes darted around everywhere, finding his backpack, his money pouches, his fire-cracker bandolier, and his sake bottles, and putting them on in quick succession. Now where was his gun--

He’d spy it up ahead, but just as he was about to grab it, he heard rattling in the nearby brushes. Damn it! Now he had to hide! So, utilizing his innate tanuki magics, a poof of smoke surrounded him, and he’d turn into a Bonsai tree, just standing perfectly still, hoping that whatever was coming out was not going to grab at his weapon!
