Here’s my contribution to the MH4U guild card craze, yay!

The first hunter is Daowg, and my second is Maria D. Ever since my first Monster Hunter (MHF2), I have made a tradition of making these two (to see both male and female armor, of course!) I always like to keep them around the same Hunter Rank, but I use different play styles with both of them.

I haven’t touched the ranged weapons much in this game, since I haven’t made any good guns and armor yet, BUT OH MAN THE CHARGE BLADE AND INSECT GLAIVE <3.

I know that there’s online mode in this game, but I am a crazy bastard who likes to solo everything because I’m a masochist. (Don’t solo Gog tho, I only did it once. The other times were painful time out failures ;n;)

Annoying Quests

To the people who think egg delivery quests are annoying, I think you’re forgetting something:

“They think we all have livers, eee heee hee!”

Does anyone else get creeped out when you’re trying to upgrade stuff in Dundorma and all you hear is the Caravaneer’s grunts (when he’s right there behind you)?

I tend to go to my house and re-enter the village to have him go somewhere else, so I can forge in peace.

Yian Garuga Armor

Yian Garuga armor is godly in the first Freedom. The low rank armor is stronger in defense than anything of the same rank, even Gravios armor (lol). I've been using the high rank set now (which was a major pain to farm) and it's gotten me through a lot.

Also, whoever designed Area 9 in the Forest and Hills needs a pimp-slap. It's a long, narrow area where tough baddies like to hang out (not to mention Melynx appear there in packs of 4 or 5). To make matters worse, there's trees and bushes everywhere, making it very easy to get cornered.

I'm so glad they fixed the weird camera angle there in the later games. (But  I still hate fighting things there, even in Unite)
