Gwen and David were lowkey dating during the summer of 2016 when the show takes place, it was kind of a “will they won’t they?” situation, kind of “friends with benefits” until they adopted Max after summer had ended where they decided to just make things official between the two since they were gonna be Max’s parents. 

A year into their relationship, this pic happens, and they adopt Rocko! for the record, no, their landlord didn’t allow dogs, and the apartment was getting kinda cramped, so they moved into a new and slightly larger apartment for the time being as they decided to look into buying an actual home.

About 2 years into their relationship, this comic happens, prompting David to ask about them having a baby of their own together, Gwen eventually thinks it over and eventually agrees that they could try for a baby “when the time was right” and they were actually married 

...until she found out like a month later she was pregnant, oops. 

Daphne is born, Max was nearly 13. Gwen picked the name Daphne, which is 100% taken straight from Scooby Doo (that’s how I imagine she’d get the name, I personally picked it bc I was watching a lilsimsie video and (lilsimsie) mentioned “oh, Daphne’s a cute name!” and I was like “Oh, hey, yeah, it is :D!” so I used it). With her full name being “Daphne Camilla Greenwood”, and her birthday being July 5th, making her zodiac sign Cancer!

When Daphne is about 6-7 months old and Max is 13, they finally get married :) A very small and simple wedding, it may have even taken place at camp during the off season.

Gwen and David debated on whether or not they actually wanted to have another kid, but to David’s surprise, Gwen’s the one that wound up suggesting another one. Her argument is that by the time Max is old enough to go to college and maybe even move out, she thinks it’d be a good idea for Daphne to have a sibling close to her age, and of course David’s all over the idea of them having another baby, so by the time Daphne is two and Max is 15, Reed is born! Given the full name “Jasper Reed Greenwood,” his birthday is September 22nd making him a Virgo! 

I may as well dump other stuff that I can’t figure out where to fit in the timeline here, soooo-

David works at a nature museum as a Docent!

I wanted something a little more out of the box than your usual “teacher david” or even “park ranger david”, and I’ve yet to see people hc him with this kind of career!! He loves giving tours and telling everyone all he knows about nature, and it’s an otherwise quiet place :) very nice!

Gwen works at a bookstore and is also writing at home, at some point she starts to sell her novels and actually makes a good salary doing so!

Gwen and David do still work at Camp Campbell, and Max even volunteers for a summer or two into his teen years.

Neil and Nikki love those kiddos, Nikki gets along best with Daphne and Neil gets along best with Reed :)

David, Daphne, and Reed are ALL autistic bc I said so

What are your favorite things about Daphne and Reed?

here's, like, a map of how their genes worked out (which was a challenge bc they're both redheads with similar heights and skinny builds in canon, so I took plenty of fanon with this)

I love their noses the best...

But I do like Daphne's aesthetic!! I wanna work on Reed's more bc he doesn't really have one, so I wanna lean more into his interests n such, really round him out more other than "quiet kid"

Daphne!!! I’ve shown her off before here, but here’s a better look at her design that I like a lot more than her concept art sdfgfdsfdgdsfdg

She’s really artsy and loves to play the ukulele, smells like strawberries, looks like a strawberry, and I imagine she’s real into the enviornment and goes trash/litter cleaning with her pops on the weekends <3<3

What dose Max think of his siblings? (The gwenvid kids)

I'm p sure whether or not he's been adopted by gwenvid, he's a brother figure to them, there's NO escaping the sibling dynamic with those kids.

He for sure cried when he first met Daphne (and eventually Reed), at first he pretended he didn't care, "it's just a baby", but the second you say that little newborn looks like a potato or anything he's on your ASS

adsdgdfssfd it was funny in his early teen years because you have lil daphne toddlin' around behind him like a little duckling all around camp

I feel like he and Reed would get along really well, they look to read together and hang out, and he's just the sibling to escape to when Daphne's a little too loud dsffdfs

What type of sibling relationship do Daphne and Reed have?

On a good day they could absolutely take on the world (or, at least, the camp), think of like Sprig and Anne from Amphibia or Chuckie and Kimi Finster in All Grown Up specifically; they could finish eachother's sentences and work together really well! They're very in-sync with eachother :)!

Then on a bad day it's WWE and Daphne's got him pinned, Reed's probably smashed her ukulele, and mom n dad have to seperate them by force gfsffgfgdfgfgdfs

Do the gwenvid kids have a favorite parent or a parent they are closer to than the other?

They don't play favorites, but Gwen would 100% pretend to and her favorite child depends on who finishes their chores the fasted fgdfsfdsdfds

But Daphne is a daddy's girl and Reed is a mama's boy. As for Max his favorite parent is... NONE OF THEM, his favorite is actually Rocko, the family dog
