while daphne had been trying to behave herself during majority of the nights, mostly for the sake of not giving her dad or brother something to worry about, she had not been able to contain herself. she had lost count on the number of glasses of manischewitz wine when she saw ruby. “daddy!” she exclaimed, raising her arms over her head, spilling a little bit in the process. “oopsies.”
