Gillian had been swimming closer to shore than typically recommended for her people, but the day was overcast and not many humans were walking by, so she figured it was safe enough; and it was then that she saw a figure standing up high on the edge of a cliff, and no sooner had she registered what she saw that the figure leapt off the rock.
