ShadowClan - She-cat
Daughter: Frecklestar
When Dappleapple was given her warrior name, she was burning with hatred towards her leader. Why would they give her such a ridiculous name? Her entire clan found it endearing, but she was a laughing stock! All her work, her training, and for what? Being called Dappleapple? Well, she wouldn't stand for it. She trained her hardest to become the best warrior in all of the clans, and found herself succeeding, rising through the ranks despite the many jabs sent her way. The bullying of her name, the degrading of her skill, amounting her to nothing but a joke.
Even her daughter, Frecklepaw, was not spared the pain of a ridiculous name, being called Frecklespeckle.
After the death of the previous deputy, Dappleapple found herself made deputy, to her surprise. But the surprise quickly gave way to a plan... If she was leader, her name wouldn't be Dappleapple anymore. She'd be Dapplestar. So Dappleapple waited, and then struck, killing her leader in a way that would rid him of all his remaining lives. She became leader and appointed her daughter, Frecklespeckle, as deputy, so that one day she might become leader and rid her of her horrible name.
When her daughter's kits become warriors, Dapplestar gave them normal names- Cloverwing, Sageflower, Hayflight. Although, unfortunately, not long after, Dapplestar passed.
To her surprise, she got into StarClan, despite logically knowing that killing her leader over something so petty was not a good thing. But the StarClan cats explained to her that it wasn't just something all that petty. That the name given to her had ruined her life, and made her the subject of bullying, while her clan leader stood by and let it happen, without bothering to change her name. That clan leader had treated clanlife and her mental well-being as a joke.
“Light golden and gray patched she-cat with beautiful fur.”
Fun Fact: Lilystar of WindClan gave her one of her lives, understanding her pain of having a horrible, unfitting name.
