Natalie walked along next to her father, keeping up with him easily memorizing everything they walked past. He was undercover and since her mother was busy had brought her along without a second thought, she was closer to him than her mother but that's only because her father was a teacher at her school.

"Alright kiddo, i'll be right back so take a seat then we'll go to my office okay?" he asked and she nodded sitting down on one of the chairs and he smiled at her before he walked off, she kicked her legs and started counting the men in the room then the woman then she tried to guess their background and story and one person she starred at for a second longer than she should have

Marie stretched out on a high limb branch, tilting her head back and enjoying the midday sun. Her cool skin warmed and she fell asleep. She woke several hours later, the sun low in the sky. She stretched her skinny feline body along the thick limb. The crunch of a stick far below her alerted her a presence. She looked down at the ground.

An Unlikely Bond

Natahri closed her eyes and concentrated. A multicolored, flamelike aura surrounds her as she becomes motionless. She opens her eyes and smiles at the beautiful landscape, filled with forests, plains, mountains and many other natural environments . In the middle was a city fit for the gods. She stumbles as she steps forward, having not being able to walk for about two days. Once she gets her valance Natahri heads to an ornate wooden cottage and goes inside. "Inari, Inari where are you?" She smiles as she hears a beautiful, golden voice respond. "Natahri is that you? I'm in the kitchen." Natahri loved the sound of the Kitsune Goddess's voice. It soothed her and made her feel safe and relaxed. She sniffs the air as she enters the kitchen. "Mmmm ramen" Inari smiles as she hugs Natahri. "It's been a long time since I've seen you, you've grown" A small smirk appears on her face as she looks at Natahri's medium sized breasts. "In more ways than one." Natahri blushes madly as she traces Inari's gaze. "I-I-Inari!" Inari chuckles. "I'm just teasing you, you've become a very beautiful young woman." Natahri smiles at Inari's words . "So why'd you come to see me?" Natahri blushes as her smile widens. "I met this wolf spirit…" She told Inari how she met Kovu, how she fell in love with him, about the flower garden and his mother before asking Inari her request. Inari smiles. "I will gladly do it." Natahri basically leaps into Inari's arms. "Thank you! Let's go find her" Inari nods as she lowers the flame of the stove so the ramen wouldn't burn. They head out in search of Kovu's mother. It doesn't take long to find her relaxing against a tree in the same forest Inari lived in. "Azura!" Natahri called out. Azura's ears twitch as she hears Natahri's voice calling her. "Yes? Oh hello there, who are you?" Natahri smiles as she hears Inari's voice in Azura's except with the slyer tone that all wolves had. Her and Inari bow politely. "I'm Natahri and this is Inari, it's a pleasure to meet you Azura." Azura politely bows back. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well. If I may ask, how do you know my name Natahri?" Natahri blushes a little as she smiles. "I'm a friend of Kovu's" Azura smiles. "Ah I see. However you want to be more than friends, don't you?" Natahri blushes madly at her words. Azura and Inari can't help themselves from laughing a little at her reaction. "Why did you need to see me?" Azura says as she stops. Natahri smiles a little as she tells Azura her request. Azura smiles back as she nods. "I will be more than happy to do it, I know it will make Kovu happy" Natahri smiles wide, overjoyed that Azura was willing to fulfill her request . "Thank you! I hate to be the bearer of bad news though but I don't have much time till I have to return to the mortal realm." Azura nods as she looks Natahri in the eye with gentle and caring eyes. "You're a very beautiful young woman with a heart of gold, a perfect match for Kovu. He needs someone like you to ease his pain though he might not know it. Help him whenever you can and when he needs it. If he ever proposes to you, you have my blessing. I'm more than happy to have you as a daughter-in-law." Natahri smiles a little before her eyes widen in shock as Azura hugs her. "Please take care of my son." A small tear runs down Natahri's cheek as she slowly wraps her arms around Azura. "I will, I promise." Azura smiles as she pulls away. Inari places her hand on Azura's shoulder and closes her eyes. Azura looks at Natahri one last time. "Natahri….….Thank you." She says before fading away as small orbs of light. Inari turns to Natahri and places her hands on her shoulders. "Listen...…I'm sorry about what happened, I wish I would've been there to do something. There's also something I have to tell you, something I should've told you a long time ago." She smiles despite the sadness she felt. "But right now you need to get back to your boyfriend, he's gotta be worried sick, I know I would." Natahri nods. "Alright, see you again." She closes her eyes and concentrates "Stop growing, you're getting too damn big" Inari smiles at Natahri's reaction. The flamelike aura fades away as Natahri opens her eyes. "Kovu, Kovu?"
