I couldn't finish the horror AU story I was planning to post today, so I did something different:
I went to the local Dare House(s) and did the famous dare! 👻
I wasn't crazy enough to go there after dark, but it was super gloomy in the forest. Close to dusk, maybe? ;) There was an unusual silence in the woods, kind of distressing even. No birds, no car sounds from afar - just a waiting silence.
Ever since I was a kid, I've called these two shacks in the forest "The witch's hut". Me and my friends used to test our courage by daring each other to peek inside the hut.
So I decided to try both, my childhood dare and the Duskwood dare.
It was an unexpectedly scary experience. 😬
The doors were nailed shut, so I thought I would be safe...
