Will you stay on tumblr though, or at least leave your blog here? Your one piece analysis are like library of alexandria to me
That’s a fantastic complement (you gotta be careful with something like that though because that almost makes me hope staff deletes my blogs just to really bring the comparison home)
Don’t worry though! I don’t plan to delete anything, and I don’t plan on walking away from tumblr. It’s unfortunate, but tumblr still feels like the best fandom platform currently out there. There’s still plenty of people on here that’s worth staying for. I’ve mostly been telling people about my twitter account for those who are planning to leave tumblr, and as a fall-back in case things just really spiral here.
So again, my personal tumblr is over at @grass-skirt
and my twitter is Luffymaid
(I’ve also been thinking about doing a backup of my blogs on some other site so that I can preserve everything I’ve written, so I should probably get on that sooner rather than later)
Overwatch ask: 18,20 ?
18: Who needs a nerf?
fucking zarya man. dear lord she can save her teammates from almost any ultimate or ability (reinhardt’s charge and roadhog’s hook for example), when she’s above 60% charge she’s essentially a beefy dps, and her ultimate is the ultimate ultimate set up.
20: Most difficult hero to play against?
Reinhardt. 2-3 hits kills me instantly (as a lucio, symmetra, and dva main) and pretty much ruins my entire strategy. ;; would not recommend
sorry to heart that. But it's not selfishness, it's self-preservation. when we're broken we're just trying to prevent trauma from happening again. and yeh, why give time to someone who doesn't wanna understand you. i feel u about how u can never heal and bad stuff keeps happening, so i wish you have at least 1 good day. cheers
thank you, i appreciate it a lot
Not a question, just an observation. I pay great attention to one's drawing style and I like to see how Oda is drawing specific characters or scenes. In recent chapter the way Oda drew Sanji made me anxious. Everybody agrees he was drawn in a beautiful way. It comes to mind, that either Oda will not draw him for a long time...Or that something bad will indeed happen to him. Either way, it's Oda's sudden emotional approach to this character that makes it all the more suspicious.
Personally I’m not worried. This is going to be a big arc for Sanji, exploring his Big Deal evil family and all that, and I’m expecting Sanji to go through hell. However, I’m expecting this to be more “Law in Dressrosa” rather than “Ace in Marineford.” Meaning that the point of all this is to explore Sanji’s history and develop him both for the current arc and for the future, rather than to explore and develop him in order to make his death more painful. If Sanji has half the plot armor that Law does, he could get kicked in the teeth, stabbed multiple times, have a limb ripped off, and get shot 68 times and still be totally fine in the end.
In my opinion, people should be more worried that something bad will happen to someone Sanji cares about (not a member of the crew, but someone from his past life that he still cares about), rather than being worried that something bad will happen to Sanji. Since he’s a member of the crew, him actually dying is like a 1/100 chance. But new characters who were created for the sole purpose of dying to make Sanji sad? That’s a more likely possibility.
