Things to do in Dublin, Ireland
The old streets of Lucca are filled to the brim with those exquisite scents, you can already imagine them: be it Amedeo Giusti's old steamer oven or a malt chocolatey Cinghiale Nero spelt dark ale, they are compelling the hungry travelers to lay down another mile, to enjoy more of the friendly tumult, making them to feel the're cared for even before getting to actually taste the local delicacies. And after that, when they go exhausted but content to their deserved rest, they are already dreaming of more fascinating walks, longing already to give themselves to the alleys for another day. And the town is happy, the town is satisfied, the town knows it will live for another day... through them. Because the town of Lucca feeds and breathes through travelers' hearts. It has grown narrow streets on purpose, an intricate labyrinth guiding the explorers over worn squares, under mossy arches or in small boutiques packed with everything from shiny trinkets to high fashion, just to keep them that one more second, one more day around. Thick overgrown walls, exhausting climbs in imposing towers, everything in the right spot for that perfect symbiosis, our hectic lives glad to spend a shiny shard to replenish the slow life of a small Tuscany town.

Basketball and Beer
Terry Porter was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 1985 and played for ten years with the team, twice making it to the All-Star Game. He left Portland in 1995 and bounced around the league until 2002 when he retired and began a second career coaching in the NBA. Porter had deep roots in Portland though, and in 2016 he returned to the city as head coach at the University of Portland, our alma mater.
Despite also playing for Minnesota and San Antonio, Terry Porter has always been identified as a Blazer. It doesn’t hurt that he was on the squad during two NBA FInals appearances -- we didn’t win, stupid Michael Jordan and the Bulls. So it was only natural that Terry Porter be immortalized in beer form, complete with a photo from his 1990′s Blazers heydays.
Gilgamesh Brewing’s The Terry Porter was brewed with the blessing of it’s namesake. A portion of its sales going to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. Last year, they raised fifty thousand dollars with the help of Columbia Distributing.
But is the beer any good? Yeah. It’s good. It’s on the strong side of the porter spectrum at a bit over 6% ABV. It’s robust and dry. The roast is intense, the extra dark malt give it a squeeze of acid which adds a hint of red currant to the mix. It’s dry with a very loose carbonation but very smooth.
What up I'm Niaṁ I'm 19 and I never learnt how to fucking drink dark ale responsibly
