Scattered Marbles - meet the crew

WIP: Scattered Marbles

Genre: horror, dark fantasy

Meet the main characters: Kris, Dorian, Carlos and Laura. They operate that little paranormal investigator firm and the notorious blog that are in the focus of the story.

Dorian, "the hunter". He is absolutely normal. He might seem a bit cold, but bellow the surface he is a real softie. His parents moved from England to Hungary right after he was born, he went to a normal school, and he studied economics at a normal university. Then he met Kris.

Kris, "the hidden one". Kris is not exactly normal. To be precise, Kris is a hundred-something year old demon originally from Romania. Goes by they/them (but never it - he literally bites for that), and doesn't like making a big deal out of not being human. Together with Dorian, they came up with the idea of a paranormal investigation firm. You know, since Kris is a quite good proof that the supernatural does exist...

Carlos, "the believer". He has always been more on tune with the ...other world. He's an exchange student from Mexico, and only got caught up in the whole mess when his roommate was taken by some kind of malevolent entity. And now the tales of his grandmother finally all make sense.

Laura, "the lost one". She's small, and proud chaotic bi(TM). She's been a persistent client (and exceptionally annoying, if you asked Dorian) of Dorian and Kris for a while now, always trying to find proof of ghosts. You could say she's a bit of a fanatic... But then she mistakes a dangerous entity for a ghost and gets caught up in its web. She resurfaces with locks gone from black to white and with a determination to not let this happen to anyone else. She doesn't wish the horrors she had seen not even upon her worst enemy.
