Hi! I wanted to say I appreciate your writing so much and I'm really excited about reading that dark Ginny fic since there isn't much of it, especially on AO3! I just started and she seems like a very interesting character so far with her dislike of being poor conflicting with her love for her family.

Ah, thank you so much!   I just managed to get the next five chapters added (though the whole thing is on FFN, of course).   It’s interesting to go back and read it and wonder how I would do it now, or how I would tackle those themes in an original book.

   At the sound of the shouted obscenity Ginny’s head jerked up. She moved quickly with wand in hand, ready for a fight only to see a very frazzled Malfoy standing before her. “Bloody hell, Malfoy! I thought you were being attacked and you’re just throwing a tantrum.”  

   He opened his mouth to snap at her but hesitated as he took in her battle-ready stance. “You thought I was being attacked?” He questioned her, holding back a smirk. “You were coming in here to protect me?”
