It was a sunny Sunday when you went to explore the backyard of your grandparents property. It was so much fun, exploring the expansive back gardens, but when you made your way towards the wishing well to follow a white rabbit you fell, and fell, and fell.
You were sure you’d hit your head. Faced with a land that seemed out of a storybook, you thought you were going insane.
But you weren’t insane, but the man who introduced himself as Jefferson was certainly unhinged. His attire had your brows raising and words caught in your throat. It was intimidating talking to him as you didn’t know when he was going to snap.
Perhaps he can help you get home? You’re not sure, but it’s worth trying to woo him into helping you. You don’t have many other options.
When he excitedly invited you to a tea party with his friends you accepted, hoping someone will know how to get you home.
“Would you kindly join me for afternoon tea? I could use the company, I’m afraid others aren’t great conversationalists.”
When he led you to the outdoor garden party your stomach twisted with anxiety. At the table sat eight chairs, six of which were occupied by various stuffed animals.
Your chair was next to his, and he pulled your chair out before forcing you down by your shoulders into the seat.
Despite the ominous atmosphere, you played along. Drinking your tea and eating the small cakes and sandwiches Jefferson forced onto your plate despite your insistence that you weren’t hungry.
“You must be famished, and we can’t have that, can we, pretty girl.”
Every time you tried to bring up going home he’d quickly change the subject, deciding to focus on something else.
It wasn’t until the sun started to turn a golden hue of the afternoon you thought it would be best to continue on your journey to try and find someone who would help you.
“I really should get going, Jefferson. Thank you for the tea.”
“Just one last cup, treasure, you’ll need to be hydrated for your journey.”
You relented, having one more cup of the fragrant bergamot earl grey tea.
As you took the final gulp and set the porcelain cup down the world began to move and wave, as if you were stuck on a boat in rough seas.
“Oh treasure, you look poorly. Perhaps you need to rest.”
“Jefferson, what did you do?”
Your words became slurred as you body fell to the side and into Jefferson’s waiting arms, hardly aware of your surroundings as everything was blurred, unable to form a coherent thought.
Jefferson picked you up bridal style, placing one of the plush toy white rabbits onto your chest for you to cuddle with.
“I’ve been so lonely without you. But you’re home now treasure, and I’ll never let you go far. We’re going to have so much fun together.”

The sky was beautifully lit up with bright sparkling stars, some purple some red. This wasn't like your everyday normal night sky....This was wonderland's beautiful night sky.
The one and only time Jefferson ever truly felt as ease.... So many creatures had now left the magical world. Mixing and mingling with the human world, free from the hateful new queen that had taken over the lands.

The new queen was truly a cold hearted cruel monster. She beheaded many men women and creatures that roamed wonderland, never feeling any remorse for her actions.
