Dark Mechanicus Dark Commune

Decided to have a rummage through my bits box and kitbash together a Dark Commune for some Dark Mechanicus sorts while I ponder how best to put together some more ASoIaF characters! These were a lot of fun to work on, and I'm really happy with how the purple has turned out!

Following up on the conversation we were having about the Sons of Phoenix, I think you could make a pretty good espionage book out of traitor geneseed being used to make loyalist chapters. Have it be an elaborate, centuries-long con by Alpha Legion and/or Dark Mechanicus to plant unknowing sleeper cells all over the Imperium. The focus of the book would be on the human investigation team, not the chapters themselves. You could go to some really interesting places with that.
