Since you write dark content, can I pls request something where it takes place in real!life world (the same as the movies, 40s or 50s) that takes place after the third movie, where reader and edmund don't know each other really well but edmund begins to slowly grow an obsession/yandere feelings for reader because she's pretty much the only thing since he came back to normal world that reminds him of narnia. Something in her aura, her sweetness reminds him of narnia. And not only because he's attracted to her, but also because he knows that now he'll never return to Narnia again, he's sure he has to have the only thing close to it then. He's still king edmund, afterall.

ever since the trek of the dawn treader marking his final adventure in narnia, edmund has been searching tirelessly for anything that could replicate the magic and his experiences. reading about similar fictitious worlds and writing a novel about his own experiences simply aren’t enough. he needs something physical, something he could look at and hold in his hands that would bring him back to the times of when he was king in a fantasy realm made of dreams. his older siblings have given up on such things and have instead focused on adjusting to the life they were born into, lucy has the ability to see magic where the rest of them couldn’t, and that just left him all alone in an endless search for something that might not even exist.
then, one random thursday afternoon, he saw you among a group of friends, completely in your own world without noticing him for even a second, but a second was all he needed to latch onto and form an unhealthy attachment to.you were just one of his classmates, someone he’s only spoken to a few times in passing. he barely knows anything about you other than your name since he’s never having a reason to get to know you when you both were contained to your respective circles, but he could see the spark within you that he’s been searching for all this time. he doesn’t know why he’s never noticed it before, yet now that he’s made the connection, it’s impossible to ignore.
after that, he started discreetly following you around. for someone who was so popular at school, you tended to enjoy your own company over others, and edmund would often find you at parks or bookstores around town. he’s still trying to figure out if it’s a nymph or a fairy that you resemble, for even without the pointed ears, you still possess that sweet aura of enchantment, even when doing the most mundane things. you’re so kind as well, offering your food to stray animals and holding them in your arms if they come to you without fear of the dirt that sticks to their paws, it all makes him swoon in a way he previously thought was impossible. sure, the way you reminded him of his previous life was what attracted him to you in the first place, but now, he’s fallen head over heels in love with you as a person as well.
he’s a little too shy to approach you at first, unable to find any openings to start a conversation without looking like a complete weirdo, but he keeps himself occupied in the meantime when he’s watching you from afar. for example, on the day he first followed you home, he went to the local store and bought himself a notebook and one of those cameras that printed out the image instantly. every day, he would jot down your every move, the places where you went, the novels you read, the type of flowers you picked up, and sometimes, he would snap a quick picture and glue it in as well. he used it as a diary dedicated to you, finding plenty of joy in this strange and unconventional hobby, and kept it as his best guarded secret. of course, his family members have noticed his peculiar behavior, but they thought it was just edmund being edmund, who has always been a little more complex than most could handle or understand. the photos, which keep piling up, really don’t do your beauty justice, but they are enough to keep him at bay on the rare occasion where he cannot find a second to take out of his day to see you in person.
on the days when he sees you with someone else who clearly isn’t a family member, he writes down his violent ideas of disposing of them, his pencil lead breaking on the page and leaving little specks of graphite everywhere. even if it was strictly platonic, he felt a twisting feeling in his chest that’s almost unbearable, finding the feeling of jealousy even worse than the feeling of being reminded that he cannot return to narnia. he just wants to drive a knife into their stomach, but he has to remember that he doesn’t have the authority or the means to get away with it. to cope with it, he likes to rip out that page where he scribbled out his dark thoughts and toss it into the fireplace, watching it crinkle up and burn away with a semi-satisfied sigh.
eventually, he does muster up the courage to become your friend, quickly finding that you’re so friendly that you don’t feel any awkwardness or second-hand embarrassment from how he was tripping over his words. so far, he’s only on the same level as most of your other friends, only someone he has a few conversations with during the school hours before disappearing when you leave the metal gates, but he’s certain that he will get there eventually. after all, he wasn’t just obsessively keeping tabs on you for nothing, he was just keeping track of your hobbies and interests so that he could increase his chances of his intellect being noticed by you.
there isn’t a doubt in his mind that he could make you his, and when you finally are, he plans to keep you hidden away, a little star from the narnian sky no one else could admire but him. even if he looks like your run-of-the-mill high schooler, he’s still a king underneath it all, and not someone who should be trifled with or taken lightly.
Found this note in my phone. It was late April when I said that even a sweet scene could be made darker — and someone asked me to try. I thought it was worth translating.
His horns branched like antlers, his eyes flared crimson, and the charming smile twisted into a dreadful snarl. The upper fangs were so long that they reached past his chin, like the saber-toothed tigers Lucy had once seen in an encyclopedia on her uncle’s desk.
The scream of the royal scout knight broke off before it even began, replaced by the crunch of bones and the screech of metal. For some reason, Lucy thought the sounds reminded her of ice cracking on the river when spring arrived.
“Mr. Tumnus?” she called softly, taking a hesitant step toward the creature bent over the scarlet snow — the creature that had smiled at her so kindly just moments before and invited her for tea. “Are you all right?”
The creature straightened sharply, leaping to the nearest fir tree in two bounds; snow fell from the branches in heavy clumps.
“Mr. Tumnus?”
The forest suddenly felt frightening and unwelcoming; the magic turned into sorcery.
“Miss Lucy, please look away — look only at me,” the faun stepped out from behind the fir, wiping the last drops of blood from his face with his crimson scarf. “A young lady should not witness such things… Perhaps, I’ll add a few custard tarts to the tea to brighten your mood. Do you like custard cream, Miss Lucy?”
He offered her his hand as gentlemanly as he had before the knight had so rudely interrupted their delightful, courteous conversation.
“Miss Lucy, you must understand — I had to protect you… From the very first moments of our acquaintance, I told you that with me you would be safe. How unfortunate that I had to prove my words so soon…”
His quiet voice, his guilty smile, his charming little horns… Lucy returned a polite smile, as a true lady would, and allowed him to lead her deeper into the woods.
She had no doubt — she was accompanied by the decidedly kind, attentive, and caring Mr. Tumnus, who, as she had now seen for herself, truly could protect her.

Pairings: Yandere/Dark! King Edmund Pevensie! X f!Reader

The White Witch's reign was not over. It had been fifteen years since the siblings came to Narnia. Everyone believed that the prophecy would come true, but one of the brothers had a coldness in his heart. Edmund became more angry, more distant and more withdrawn towards his siblings over time. It was not known who was to blame for this, but he thought that everyone had a share, including himself. There was also a share of his parents, whom he could no longer remember. He saw everyone as guilty, himself too.
The prophecy necessitated that all the siblings had to be together. But Edmund had chosen his own path once. At first he regretted it and wanted to return to them, but the White Witch had prevented him from leaving with her manipulations. She used Edmund and treated him like a slave. He was not a king, but a poor prisoner. But little did she know Edmund would one day rule her.
A king was always a king.
There was always a flame in Edmund's heart. It had grown over the years just to spite the freezing cold which became stronger every passing day. This flame wanted power, wanted revenge, and justice. Of course, his concept of justice was quite dubious. But he felt that he had the power to get what he wanted. As he got older, he became a strong man. Whatever the White Witch did to keep him naive and defenseless, it didn't work. The prophecy may not have come true, but it certainly gave birth to a darker prophecy.
No one knew how it happened, but after ten years the White Witch let him rule. She considered Edmund as her king and gave him all her authority. Though, she couldn't give him the right that he already had all along. The White Witch realized that she would never be able to rule completely, because this wasn't her destiny. She was not a daughter of Eve. But Edmund made her see the truth. The human siblings couldn't destroy her because Edmund wasn't with them. The White Witch couldn't destroy them because she wasn't the real ruler.
As Edmund sat quietly on his throne she thanked him with trembling admiration in her cruel heart. After all those years of cruelty, the King could have punished her if he wanted, but he didn't. He was also grateful to the Witch. Without her and her cruelty, he would not have become the person he was today. But he didn't share this with her.
He remembered the first time he sat on this throne as a child. The Witch had thrown him into her dungeon. And there she was now, kneeling before him, for five years.
Peter and his sisters had lost hope. They felt their chances of defeating the White Witch became impossible with Edmund's accession to the throne. He had declared himself the White King. It was wrong, it was dark. Something went wrong, but no one could figure out why. What would happen if there was no prophecy? The Great King Peter, who had no choice but to prepare for the unknown, worked nonstop. Five years. For exactly five years, he had been trying to end the cruel rule of his younger brother, whom he once believed to be grumpy but deep down inside well-intentioned. He didn't want to believe he was a bad person. He and Lucy were convinced that Edmund was a victim of a skilled manipulator. But Susan argued that he chose this path. He had had countless opportunities to return to them over the course of ten years, but he didn't take any step. Lucy was the only one who believed that Edmund was still a good person when he took the throne. But even she had started to think this was now a childish hope. Peter had finally realized his little brother had left them a long time ago.
And you, you were a dreamer trying to add ridiculous excitement to your ordinary life. You'd never been able to leave this spirit inside of you behind. They wanted to kill this side of you and cast you out for your whole life, but you never stopped dreaming. You wanted to explore a wardrobe in one of these hide-and-seek games you'd been playing with yourself. "I want to hide in this wonderful wardrobe and have the coats wrap me up!" Ha! You were a strange girl. There was probably a reason why this peculiarity of yours was accepted by Narnia. Because you found yourself in the snow.
The hospitable beavers who were talking had hurriedly invited you to their home. You were so scared when they told you that this wonderful world was not so wonderful anymore. You wanted to go back home, wished you'd give up your ridiculous games. But everything had a reason and a price. It couldn't be brought back.
They have taken you to the High King Peter. A daughter of Eve who came in Narnia fifteen years later must had had something to do with this war.
You had arrived after a trip full of delicious jams. A king and two queens who tried to defend their people and their land, but were betrayed by their brother Edmund. The dead flame of hope in their hearts began to burn again with your arrival. They were supposed to hide you from the White King. But Peter knew deep down that they were too late for that.
Edmund had heard of your arrival. He knew about a lot of things thanks to the White Witch. She protected him against all diseases and made him immortal. She gave him all the powers she could give. She turned Edmund, who was a king by birth, into an invincible king.
"Witch, give me your wand." Edmund said, without taking his eyes off the faun, who was trembling with fear. His eyes were on the ground, he did not dare to look at the White King. No one could, not even the White Witch.
Jadis bowed her head and held out both hands to present her wand. Edmund stood up, taking his time, and went down with slow steps. There was something in his eyes. Far from the old Edmund. He took the wand that Jadis held out. He spun it in his hand and hit the ground. The sound echoed powerfully on the soulless walls. The poor faun almost fainted on the spot.
He titled his head and said in a half-whisper, "Lost?"
"P-p-please h-h-"
Edmund turned the wand in a way that contrasted with his still form and pressed it against the faun's back. "Lost?"
"W-wait! Beavers! I believe t-they took her to... t-them."
If he had looked into Edmund's eyes before he turned to stone, he could have seen how "insane" he was. Out of his mind, empty, dark.
He gave the wand back to Jadis. He didn't speak. He didn't need to talk. The Witch could understand what was going through his mind. She could figure out what he wanted. There was an almost wordless but deep relationship between them. He thought the only person who understood him was the White Witch. After all, she raised him in some way.
He rested his hands behind his back and walked away in silence. Jadis knew what she had to do.
"How much time do we have?" you said when Peter gave you a dagger.
"Enough to get you out of here."
"I'm not running away."
Peter took a deep breath and looked out from the huge castle windows. Snow. There was snow everywhere. Could he end the freezing winter? It's been a month since they found you, but there hasn't been a single improvement. It was as if everything was getting worse. The winter was harsher, Narnia was more dangerous. A wild wind that signaled that the White King was looking for you and would find you eventually. But why didn't he come earlier? Why didn't he start a war to capture you earlier? It was as though the trees listened to everything and told him that the right time had come. Now that you were Peter's only hope, he couldn't lose you either. But there was more. One month was enough for him to realize that there was more. Maybe... one day, he thought.
He looked at you, holding your hands. "You're not running away. You're just hiding."
"It's the same thing!"
"You are a hope that has come to Narnia after a decade. It is my duty to protect you. And I have the final word."
There was a brief silence. "I see. Narnia needs me, so no harm should come to me."
You weren't looking at him anymore. Your eyes wandered over the ground and then over the beautiful, eerie snow. He thought how beautiful you looked. But sad. "Yes, Narnia needs you and I have to make sure that you are safe."
You turned your offended face to him. He put your one hand on his heart and the other hand on his face. You were so full of life and pure. Since the first time he saw you, his sisters have noticed that there was something changed in him. And it was their fun to make fun of it. But they were so happy for him. It was the first time they had seen their older brother so full of love in fifteen years of cruelty. He definitely became attached to you in a short time and had no intention of leaving you. He didn't know the extent of his attachment to you, all he knew was that his heart ached when he didn't see you even for a second. "But Narnia is not the only reason."
You felt your face got warm. To be honest, you've been waiting for this moment. He was a charming person. Brave, patient, caring, leader... Your mouth fell open while your eyes widened. Maybe... one day, you thought.
"He's here! We're too late!" Lucy shouted from the outside.
"You were wrong. Enough to confess." You said, smiling.
He caressed your hands and smiled. "Still enough."
Edmund; the oppressor, the ruthless, the fierce White King. Even if their High King was Peter, they were afraid of him. They couldn't ignore him or disrespect him by saying, "you're not our king." It was known that he made collections of them.
He had not seen his siblings for fifteen years. While he was a prisoner of the White Witch, he had a chance to escape and go back to them, but he didn't. He was afraid to change his mind. But on what? At that time, he didn't have the wish of becoming a king in his mind. There was a boy who just wanted to go home. A boy who missed his mother and hid from the war. But he could not ignore the growing darkness in his heart. He loved and embraced this darkness. He was afraid of losing this mysterious self he had if he returned to his siblings.
Was he nervous? Was he angry? Was he excited? He didn't know. His mind was pensive as he approached the sheltered castle. Was he happy to see them? He wasn't sure about that. He wanted to be happy, he wanted to feel something. Instead there was no life in his cruel heart.
He was sitting alone in his sleigh. He looked straight ahead. Neither to the right nor to the left. He had a white fur and cloak that could easily disappear among the snow. It did not belong to any living thing. It was a big, magical fur that his witch created especially for him. Every single garment and every single precious jewel of his was white. It was not just any ordinary white color. It was magical and ominous, cursed like snow. On his head was a crown of ice similar to that of the White Witch. But it was much larger and disproportionate. A crown that was almost as sharp as a knife and reflected his unstable inner world. The only thing that made him look distinctive in white was his natural hair and longing eyes.
Jadis was on another sleigh next to him. She was also dressed in white and had a sharp crown of ice on her head, but smaller than before. She had taken off her crown when Edmund became king, but he had let her keep it on condition that she would make it much more smaller, like a little insignificant accessory. She put the reason down to his generosity, but the main reason was that the White Witch, whom he knew and was used to, had that crown. He couldn't quite get rid of his past. His heart and mind had been damaged. It was hard to let go of the people and things he was used to. He had chosen to lose his family. At least now he could choose not to lose some things.
"The new hope of Narnia" he said, smiling vaguely.
Susan took Peter's hand. They were little, they were children. Now they had all become young adults. Young kings and queens. No one said anything, but what they were feeling and what was going through their minds was the same. After all those years... What was going to happen?
And here he was. The White King and his White Witch. Their big sleigh stopped side by side. There were only two of them. There was no army in sight. It was a frightening display of force. It meant that their younger brother had became so powerful that even the High King Peter the Magnificent could not afford to stand against him. To come without an army was to despise him. Since it was certain that he did not come there with the intention of peace, this was an insult.
Susan took her hand from Peter's and waited with one hand on her arrow. She was ready to stop Edmund, and maybe to stop him forever. As if she could. Peter couldn't foresee what he wanted to do, so he waited. His army was on standby for his order. An army against two "person". Peter knew that it would take more than a whole army for two person with these powers.
"Where is Lucy?" Edmund's voice wavered like a song in the maddening silence. The wind somehow perfectly conveyed to them his voice, which was impossible to hear at a distance. There was no need to shout, there was no need to get closer. There was no need for unnecessary family reunions. And they had no way of inviting him to their walls anyway. He was too unreliable for that.
"She preferred not to see you. Her heart is broken, you know. Because of you." he said it a little loudly, but there was no need for it. Edmund had sharp ears now, he heard Peter with ease.
"You betrayed us." Susan said. She thought her heart wouldn't soften when she saw him, but she couldn't take her eyes off his brother, who had become a young man, even for a moment. The cold air dried her tears quickly. She missed his little brother very much.
"I- I..." Edmund murmured. He frowned, looked confused but he wasn't really. He smiled slightly. "...really want to see Lucy."
"As I said earlier, she doesn't want to see you. What is the reason you come here after all those years?" Peter said, this time more quietly but confidently.
Edmund stared at the beautiful castle. His smile was more visible. "White... It's nice to see your warm home dressed in white. And do you like it, my brother? Do you like my beautiful cold gift? Does it fill my absence in your warm home?"
His calm and soft voice filled the ears of both of them. Something was wrong. There was an odd feeling inside them. They looked at each other for a moment.
"You could have filled your absence yourself." Peter said. "Why are you here?"
"To become a family again." He let out a small laugh.
"Stop it! Don't play with us!" Peter shouted.
Edmund took a deep breath and closed his eyes as the cold filled his lungs. Becoming a family again? Even his joke felt impossible. It felt like a bitter taste on his tongue. It sounded like a forbidden sentence. Becoming a family again? Even the thought of it was unbearable.
"Why these stupid questions that you already know the answers?" He let out a deep breath, making it sound like he was extremely bored.
Peter took out his sword. "Answer me!"
Edmund slowly opened his arms and showed around. His thin and long fingers were rather pale, but strong. "I came to find a new... hope."
Peter gulped. There was no trace of goodness on his brother's face. He seemed more full of evil than the White Witch. He wore a mask looking like compassionate, but he was cruel behind it. "There's no hope left for you."
Edmund raised his head and stared into the blinding whiteness. 'It's too late for me, isn't it, brother?' he thought.
"Tell Lucy that I really would like to see her. And tell her that... it wasn't her fault." He said. The smile on Edmund's face didn't go away. It wasn't an empty, numb smile, it was a smile of victory. "It was yours."
As their sleigh returned in the direction from which they had come, Peter put back his sword and looked at Susan. He didn't know what to think, he was confused about what to do. When did his little brother turn into such a dark and deceptive person?
"What did he mean?" Susan asked anxiously.
"I don't know."
Cold, icy, soulless. It's like these walls wanted to kill your soul. It's as if these chains have chained you to your terrible fate. The wait was painful, but was it sweeter than what was going to happen to you? The sculptures of poor Narnians with whom you shared the dungeon had agreed you.
The unnatural cold has forced you to sleep. You didn't know how long it had been when you woke up, but it had been long enough for your body to hurt from the hard ground.
"Oh, no!" You shivered when you heard the Witch's shout. She said the king wanted to stay alone. "Get out!"
The sweet comfort of painful waiting had come to an end at last.
The White King, tall and unnaturally pale-skinned, stood in front of your cell. You wondered if there was any trace left of that old brother Lucy told you about. You wondered how much he had changed. Lucy thought that why Edmund lied to Peter about seeing Narnia when they were a child was only because he was a bully. If she had known that Narnia would become what it was today, she would never have told her siblings about her secret world.
You looked desperately into his eyes. Imploringly. You never stopped looking into those firm eyes of his for a moment.
"The new hope of Narnia." He said. "Why do you look so hopeless?"
"I- I'm not h..." The longer you looked at him, the more hypnotized you felt. You shook your head and kept your eyes on the ground. There was something about him that attracted you in a scary way. "Peter will save me."
He tapped his ring rhythmically against the bars. "Peter... Why Peter?"
You didn't answer.
"Oh, I know."
You turned your head.
"Of course I know."
Would you end up like these beavers standing next to you?
"You've had time enough to take a fancy to my charming brother."
You looked at him when he opened the dungeon. His long white cloak and fur were touching the ground. They looked so warm. You wished you had one of them.
"Are you cold?" He asked, already knowing your answer.
You nodded. He released you from the chains and helped you to stand up. You couldn't help but tremble with fear. What was he trying to do?
He wrapped you inside his cloak and made you disappear next to his body. You leaned your head against him and put one hand on his chest. It was warm. So warm, perfect.
He led you out of the dungeon. After he sat on his throne, he placed you on his lap. You were warm and sleepy. You rested your head on his chest. The cloak and fur he wrapped around you made you feel incredibly peaceful.
This, this was not normal.
"Do you know what the best part is?" he talked to himself while you were on that strange line between sleep and wakefulness. "To imagine that my brother is devastated because he failed to protect you."
He rubbed your back. "Sometimes I close my eyes, sometimes I focus on a point. But what I do is the same. To imagine." He smiled, was lost in thought again. "He is now a desperate man whose loved one has been stolen from him. 'The magnificent king of Narnia', who lost hope, found hope and could not protect it."
He pulled you a little towards himself. He held your chin and turned your face to him. You were sleeping. Peaceful, beautiful and vulnerable. You were like the other innocent beauties he destroyed. He had never wanted to see a flower or a sparkle, he had destroyed them all. It shouldn't have been hard to kill you. As Peter had said, there was no longer any hope for him. Edmund had already killed his hope, with his own hands. Why would you be any different?
But you were. He took you to his quarters and put you in his bed, which kept you warm like his cloak. He sat down on the edge of the bed and stroked your hair softly. "I am cruel." He said. "Oh, my poor little hope. I am a very, very cruel monster."
He smiled and kept caressing your hair for a while. Poor sweet girl. Why did you even come to Narnia? Did you like little games like her sister Lucy? He imagined you in the hide-and-seek game they were playing. You ran laughing and followed Lucy. She wanted to get into Edmund's hiding place, but Edmund got annoyed as usual, telling her to find another place. So you grabbed Lucy's hand and ran to the room where the wardrobe was, saying this way. Yes, it could have been a nice memory.
Whatever the innocent reason, this could not change the fact that you were trapped in the cold kingdom of The White King. You were going to spend every day, hoping, to get away from him, and he was going to enjoy every second of it.
"I'm afraid I will break your heart and lock you in here." He whispered.
He gently tucked your hair behind your ear. Looked at your beautiful skin. "I will chain you up and never let you go."
He stroked your cheek. "I will make Peter suffer only to see the despair in your eyes." He held his breath when he imagined the tears streaming from your eyes and pleading sobs escaping from your trembling lips. He had really turned into a very twisted person, and he had no complaints about it.
He leaned and rubbed his nose to your skin, inhaling your smell. "I will make him watch how I own you to see the desperation in Peter's eyes." He liked that thought. It was something that thrilled him very much to show Peter his strength and leave him helpless. The idea of seeing his own brother miserable, leaving him no choice but to beg because there is nothing he could do was perfect.
"But don't you scared, my beautiful hope. I wouldn't harm a single hair on your head."
"Lucy?!"
Peter and Susan spent hours searching for their little sister Lucy and you. Their plan was to bring you back when Edmund left. Lucy was supposed to take you to a safe place just for a while.
"I'm here!"
"Lucy!" She was tied to a tree, sitting.
"Are you okay?" Peter rescued her and helped her to stand up. Everyone who was supposed to protect the girls had been killed.
"I'm okay but..." Lucy cried, hugging Peter. "I'm so sorry."
Peter felt bad enough already. For hours, he couldn't even take a sip of water out of concern for Lucy's safety and yours. He found one of his loved ones, but what happened to the other?
He hugged her tighter. And it was all his fault.
He caressed Lucy's hair. "It wasn't your fault." He whispered.
In the weeks and months that followed, Peter didn't stop trying to find you. Narnia had lost hope once again. Peter had once again lost a person he loved. It hurt him even more that his own brother was the one who put him through this pain. But that was just the beginning. Edmund, The White King, now had a wife. The White Hope.
Author’s note: It’s the first time I try writing something like this, so I’d really appreciate some feedback. This is also like a direct continuation from this headcannons
If there really was a magical lion with otherworldly powers, this, right now, was the moment in which he should show up.
Right?
With a mad King trailing you in a castle he knows like the back of his hand. You could feel the vibrations of his every step in the floor as you ran away from him.
Your dress wasn’t that heavy, but it was tight enough to keep you from running properly, and the floor was just too clean you feared it would make you slip at any moment if you lost your focus.
Focus on what?
The thought both, sobered you, and placed a thousand pounds on your shoulders, whatever you tried you wouldn’t be able to get away, not as long as he commanded the soldiers all around you, as long as he was in power you had no way out.
The tiles on the floor glistened, you realized, flecks of gold shimmering within them, the cream colored walls were equally pretty, what a pretty view before death.
Would it hurt? You allowed yourself to wonder, as you doubled a corner and heard him closing in. Would he make it public? Or would he fake your suicide?
Then you stopped, your feet sliding a bit as your heartbeat pounded on your ears, the sight before you enough to drown whatever hope you were hanging by.
Centaurs, two of them, flanking the doors to the garden.
Guards.
Maybe if you pretended tha you were just playing around and hid between the bushes, maybe then-
“Seize her” he didn’t even sound out of breath, his voice was cold and detached.
The centaurs gave you a long look, almost questioning your condition before steeling their eyes and walking towards you in deadly-slow steps.
Instinctively you began moving backwards, your eyes jumping from one to the other as they flanked you with weary steps almost as though trying to catch a scaredy doe, your arms were slowly rising, palms extended, you didn’t really know what for.
But they had you in no time, you trashed against them, you kicked and you bit as you tried to get them off of you, but they had a good grip, barely lifting you off your feet to make you lose balance.
They turned you around and faced him, but you kept trying to get away, growling like a savage.
“She’s spy, sent by believers of the White Witch” his voice caught you by surprise, you were honestly surprised at the severity and confidence of his voice, the hold of the guards tightened a notch “take her to my study so that I might-“ his eyes trailed on your face as he licked his lips, almost as if he was savoring his own words “extract the information that I require”
You scoffed “Liar! Please! He’s lying!” Your tears were beginning to roam freely down your face “Please! You have to believe me!”
Peter managed a severe look of disappointment “We owe nothing to anyone who seeks to bring Jadis back after her reign of terror” that was the exact moment you realized that he wasn’t focused on you, no, he had his attention on putting a show to convince the guards.
And he had, they began dragging you along, as you kept struggling and looking for any sign of them doubting his story.
But there was none.
Another pair of guards opened the doors to his study as they brought you in, Peter entering the room barely seconds after you.
“Leave us” he commanded, the guards looked back and forth between the two of you, it made you feel even worse, how they looked at you as though you were the menace in the room “I’ll be fine” he added, sincerity coating his words.
Of course he’d be fine, the only one in real danger here was you.
You ran to for the door as soon as the guards let go of your arms, but they closed it in your face, the blonde chuckled behind you, you turned around to glare at him.
“By all means, keep trying, I’d like to see the mess you make of your face” he was entertained, comfortably leaning against his desk
“All this because I kicked you?” You mocked him “Is that all it takes to hurt your ego?” You knew that you should shut up and beg for mercy, but you didn’t want to give him the satisfaction, mad men like him didn’t give up often.
His eyes darkened with anger and you wanted to swallow your tongue right at that second, he stalked towards you, but his legs were long enough so that it took him no time to corner you.
“What? Are you going to try to kiss me again? We both saw how it ended up last time” Your voice came high pitched and trembling as your face went red and your eyes watered, not really imposing, but you couldn’t stop your mouth.
He took a hold of your forearm and dragged you along to a chair, as you kept trying to get away, you wondered if you looked like an animal while moving like that. He threw you a piece of cord he removed from his book stash
“Tie your hands to the chair” he demanded
“Why would I?” He grabbed a hold of his sword
“Do it or I cut them off” you almost didn’t believe him “Doubt me if you want, I was already using this before I turned fifteen, how much strength do you think it would take? I mean, both your arms are really thin, almost boney” he scoffed at the last part, it scared you how entertained he was by the though.
You quickly made a knot with two of your fingers and your mouth.
“There, happy?” You had never wanted to kill someone as much as you did right that second.
He got to your side in no time and tugged on the rope, it was loose. He clicked his tongue and tightened it himself “You’re not being very cooperative” he mustered and the anger burnt your throat, not cooperative? You had just tied yourself for gods sake!
You felt his warm fingers on your chin, lifting it up so your eyes would meet his, how much strength would it take to bite his fingers off?
He pressed his mouth against your right ear, never loosing the grip on your chin “You’re still fighting? You can’t win ‘pet’ you should know that by now” he separated from you as though your very skin burned him, and began walking around you, almost as if taking in the view.
And then he got close, too close, his chest pressed against your back, his left arm hugging your shoulders as his right one held your face looking to the front “Then again” he whispered, this time against your neck “You were never that smart, Pet” he savored every time he said that monicker, you could feel his heartbeat picking up, could feel him almost panting, and it made you so nauseous you hoped you’d puke all over him.
In a moment of recklessness you tried, with all your strength to push him off, but you made a mistake, a deadly mistake.
You brushed against him.
He grunted, it obviously taking him by surprise, in a stray ray of hope, you pleaded and begged that he’d be repulsed by that, that he’d let go, maybe poke fun at you or feel so repulsed he might straight up kill you.
But he did it again, this time on purpose, grinding against your arse as you tried to squirm away, and again, and again.
You sobbed as he moaned.
“Let me go, please, I won’t tell anyone” your voice was broken with fear and disgust.
He only gripped you tighter
“You bewitched me” he said, lost in his own mind, you already had your suspicions on him being mad, but maybe he was already completely lunatic. He let go of your shoulders and gripped your hips, grinding you against him this time, following the rhythm he had already stablished.
“Besides,” he added in a labored breath “why would I let you go?”
“Your siblings will know something is up” was the only response you could muster
“They won’t doubt me” he said beginning to slide his hand on your inner thigh over your tight dress “Besides, I’m the High King” he said as though it explained everything.
You guessed it did, as long as he was High King no one would dare cross him, not even with doubts about the whereabouts of a nobody like you.
“But you won’t always be” it was a daring response, really, but here, with his hands grasping all over your legs, every time higher and higher up, you wouldn’t care less, you wanted him paranoid, even if just to hurt him a little.
“What is that supposed to mean?” His tone was amused, almost challenging, not really caring for an explanation, his hand beginning to massage your core, you let out a strangled moan, shutting it down as quickly as it appeared, he pressed tighter and you forced yourself to detach from your body.
“You will rot” was your first response “you will age and you will rot, High King or not you will die, and your legacy of madness with you, there will be future kings from our world, better kings” your voice was low and your eyes already gone, open but not really seeing as you sought comfort and shielding in your own mind.
You failed to listen to his response as he pulled you tighter into him, with frantic eyes and whispers of creating a legacy of his own, just like either of you failed to see the moving eye in the painting on the wall, because neither of you knew it wasn’t a painting at all.
Or, at least the eyes weren’t a real part of it, they were glass, a window from which obsidian eyes were watching, the eyes from the boy with the sharpest mind in the whole kingdom, because he had heard his brother’s last statement, and he’d make sure to do right by you, find justice for your whole situation.
Because maybe the golden lion hadn’t saved you, but a Just King who had experienced first hand the madness of a crazy queen would.
Dont know if requests are open but can u do an Edmund one where its 'touch her and ill kill you' trope except he actually kills the person?

╰₊✧ “touch her, and i’ll kill you”┊0.7k words (part one)
contains: obsessive possessive behaviors (yandere) & murder!! literal backstabbing, pov of the dude edmund is jealous of, typed this on my phone
➤ author's note: edmund is probably ooc in this idk you’re not yourself when obsessed
it’s a threat thomas regrets to say he didn’t take seriously. sure, he was told this young man was a king of old and was to be treated with the utmost respect, but he seemed to be so boyish and immature at times with his infatuation toward the real royal’s dearest sister by bond. you seemed to be at your wit's end with him, but the other men chalked it up to young love as most of them were a bit older, and caspian himself was too busy to notice the extent of his obsession.
so that’s why he tried streaming you away two or three times under the guise of something needing your attention, which you gleefully rushed toward to escape your one-sided lover. you didn’t actually seem to know who he was or remember him as a savior—just another face in the crowd of dozens whom you were gladly willing to use as an excuse to leave—but he was glad to be that person even if he wasn’t recognized.
edmund, on the other hand, seemed to be seething with rage each time, to the point where he cornered thomas in the bunks, pushing the length of his arm against his chest, simply saying, “if you go near her again, i’ll kill you” before pushing him to the ground and leaving. it didn’t take a genius to figure out who this “her” was when he had yet to properly meet the young queen named lucy, who, by the way, seemed to be the only voice of reason in his twisted mind that was dead-set on making you his, and yet it still wasn’t enough. really, how could he when he didn’t even listen to your protests and was under the delusion that meeting you again on this ship was fate?
wasn’t his title “king edmund the just?” shouldn’t he be fair in judgment and unbiased toward his own opinions? they say love drives one mad, but really, to the point where you go against your namesake given by a talking lion deity?
because of this reasoning, he didn’t listen to his threat and proceeded to sit next to you during dinner. he wasn’t flat out in love with you, but he would be lying if he said being around you didn’t make him feel some type of way— but it might just be because of the lack of women on the ship. you were already immersed in conversation with your brother about what’s next on your voyage, but when caspian smiled and welcomed his company, you did so as well. you found him to be rather funny actually, even jokingly slapping his arm and covering your face at one point as the entire table laughed heartily. you didn’t think of it as anything, just a little gesture between friends, but edmund certainly didn’t agree with that and the way he gripped the knife as he stabbed into the loaf of bread sent chills down thomas’s spine.
the last mistake he made was ignoring his gut feeling that danger was approaching when he was all alone smoking a cigar on the bow of the ship at midnight, convincing himself it was merely the wind and the eeriness was from the vast unknown waters below where he stood when in actuality it was the impending doom of his eventual death by murder.
he was so lost in his own thoughts, missing his family and the ground being still rather than ceaselessly sailing twenty-four-seven, until he gasped at the sharp sensation blooming in his upper back followed by the warmth of fresh blood soaking into his attire. he didn’t even have the time to react or to turn around to determine the identity of his assailant before he was pushed overboard, not that needed too because he knew exactly who it was, his mind hazily wondered how the young king could have done all that in less than a minute to take the edge of the saltwater stinging his open wound and entering his lungs as he steadily drowned a painful death.
edmund lazily tossed the knife overboard as well, turning on and pointing his flashlight to scour the area for any evidence, very pleased to see it was a clean job for his first time.
it gave him the confidence to do it again if he had to.
Saw Yandere Susan and decided I would like Yandere Edmund <3
ft. edmund pevensie x f! reader — the chronicles of narnia
╰₊✧ hiding you away on the dawn treader┊0.7k words
setting: voyage of the dawn treader
contains: yandere edmund!! unhealthy obsessive & possessive behavior!! kidnapping & isolation!! force-feeding, reader has lots of hate & lots of swearing, lucy knows
➤ author's note: your timing is impeccable i was literally thinking about that this morning (also send the link for the yandere susan, it’s a need)
“come on, quit being a brat, you need to eat something,” edmund muttered holding up a spoon of vegetable stew to your mouth, a delicacy when traveling on the waters for as long as you have been. normally, you would be delighted to finally eat something green, but this situation was anything but and you outright refused.
“fuck off!” your voice strained and raspy for hours of useless screaming through the frayed rope that kept your mouth shut in a futile attempt to get someone to hear your pleas for help. you realize now that you’re a fucking idiot for not waiting until he undid it to feed you before trying.
while everyone else was saddened the kings and queens of old had to leave after the victory over the telmarines, you were secretly ecstatic that you would no longer have to deal with the overly obsessive just king who was insufferable with his jealous bouts. you had no idea what you did to attract his attention or how a smartass like him still hasn’t gotten the hint you weren’t interested, but he was extremely persistent in his pursuit and you can see nothing has changed during the time you were apart. it actually has become much worse with the distance now closed.
and somehow you still managed to get cornered by him and woke up in the bowels of the dawn treader with barely any light, but maybe that’s for the best since you detest seeing his face. it’s only been one day, but you knew someone would come looking for you eventually. the ship may be massive and fit for a king like caspian, but it was still only a finite space without many places to hide.
“you’re so goddamn stubborn.” his hand gripped your jaw and forced it open, sticking the carved wood into your mouth and making you choke on the soup.
you didn’t want to eat anything he was offering out of fear it was drugged and out of adamant refusal to yield to him, but you were honestly too weak to reject the much-needed sustenance, not when the warm liquid soothed your sore throat and filled your empty stomach. you were willing to swallow your pride and the vegetables this time to conserve your energy, hoping you could use it later to try and escape from his insanity.
“why am i even here?”
edmund hastily wiped off the excess that got on your chin with his sleeve, tutting in disappointment at the little mess like it was your fault when you were being tied up. “you should have seen this coming.”
“what did i do?!”
“talk to thomas,” he hissed. “you were all over him—”
“i don’t even know who that is!” you racked your brain to try to think of who this “thomas” could have been out of the countless men on this boat, what you could have possibly done to make edmund this upset over it, and why the fuck he thought he had any right to be mad about it in the first place!
“don’t even try to deny it.” he finally got up when the bowl was empty and you were all cleaned up, “i’ll be back when night falls.”
“i hope you fall off the ship! don’t come back, asshole— i would rather starve down here than—”
he left before you could continue your angry rant, locking the door behind him and slipping the key into his pocket. he had done all this in a fit of rage without any idea what his next move would be. he’s never been so irrational before, but he’s certain he would figure it out.
although, he didn’t have the heart to look in lucy’s eyes when she asked him if he’d seen you. he just knows she’s severely worried and torn between helping you or keeping quiet for his sake, and he knows she’ll eventually choose you over him when he’s in the wrong— the only thing he doesn’t know is when.
he already knows he’s in massive trouble when it comes to lucy, but if caspian found out he was keeping his adopted sister hostage, his head would be on the line.
Summary: You get lost in Narnia and Peter finds you.

You didn't understand where you were. You kept running and running. You heard someone calling you to stop but why would you trust him? What was this place anyway? Talking animals, moving trees, and- and... was that a mouse? You fell when it suddenly appeared right in front of your face. "Where's the rush?"
"You are a mouse! And you are talking!"
He sighed and greeted you like you were a princess. "Excellent observer, aren't we? Well, I would like to hear more of your lovely deductions but I don't think we have enough time for that."
And shortly after, you heard him again. This time he was right behind you. "Are you okay? I told you to stop running! Why couldn't you just listen what I said?" He quickly kneeled and checked you. Touched your body to see if there's any problem. He didn't have to touch you but seemed like he was so eager for it. He was so gentle and soft, like you were so fragile and he could hurt you. He looked you in the eye, you could see that his stare was admiring. But there was a twisted desire to possess. His stare said that he didn't want you to go anywhere.
He touched your messy hair, your wet cheeks and your delicate neck. Then your tiny shoulders, your weak arms, and exposed legs... when he touched your foot you tried to kick him but he grabbed it firmly and didn't let you. "No, you don't get away from me." He took you in his arms and you were so weak to go against him. Hurt and tired. He looked at you, looking proud to carrying you. "You don't have to be afraid. You are safe with me."
All you could was hugging his neck and looking at him with your teary eyes. You were alone, scared and you didn't know where you were. Could you trust this young man? He touched you like a pervert. "Where am I?" you whispered.
"You are in Narnia, beautiful girl." He smiled. "I don't know how you found here, but I'm glad you did. You are so lucky that I saw you, now you have me to protect you. Don't worry, I will never leave you."
"Narnia... What is- where is Narnia? Animals and creatures and, and... I don't understand. Is this a dream? I think I'm losing my mind!" You burried your face on his chest and brusted into tears.
He knew it was too much for you and you needed some time, so he let you cry and didn't talk. Not that you were clinging, hugging him. Not that you rested your face on his shoulder, leaned your head to catch your breath and gave hot blows to his neck. Not that he loved to meet your desparate need of comfortation.
You stopped crying after a while. There were just little sighs. You put your head and hand on his chest, eyes were heavy. You were ready to give in to sleep. "What is your name?"
He let out a small laugh, "You finally want to know my name. I thought you'd never ask."
"I want to know who's kidnapping me." You showed your last piece of resistance with this sentence.
"Wha- what? Kidnapping you? You want to know who's kidnapping you?" You looked at him. He was shocked, shaking his head and laughing in disbelief. "You, helpless little girl, would be in a great danger if I didn't save you. I imagine you walking around by yourself, but even the thought of it is terrible. How could a poor girl like you protect herself? Even the first simple threat you faced would pose a great risk to you. And yet you are accusing me of kidnapping you. I am saving you, silly girl! You need a men like me to take care of you, this is how it works!"
